Amazing Race 11: All Star Edition Which Racers Came Back?

Amazing Race is back with their All Star edition and while they have picked some great people to come back, I was disappointed to see that some great teams were not picked while other teams who were so uninteresting that I barely remember them, were instead chosen.

The Chosen Racers

Rob and Amber, Season 7 - These are the two to beat and everyone is gunning for them. There is no in between with Rob and Amber, you either love them or hate them. I am glad to see that they are back but I'm not surprised. They spice up this long running show and can backstab with the best of them.

John Vito and Jill, Season 3 - Although they are back as a team, these two are no longer dating. They are also not one of the teams that were very interesting and I can barely remember them from season 3.

Oswald and Danny, Season 2 - Who can forget Danny and Oswald? They kept getting ahead of the other teams partly because of their smarts and their ability to respect others. While the other frantic teams were screaming at workers, Danny and Oswald simply waited for their turn and then politely asked questions. They received help and the less polite teams did not.

Dustin and Kandice, Season 10 - The not so nice beauty queens from the previous season is back and ready to start more trouble. In the first half hour the usually kind David and Mary lied to their face about which was the fastest airplane to take. These girls are willing to knock over anyone to get to the finish so they should not be too surprised that they have few friends on this race.

David and Mary, Season 10 - This sweet southern team is back and hoping to win this time around. Unfortunately I don't see them lasting long in this race either. Erwin and Godwin helped them a lot last season and unless they get another nice team like Oswald and Danny to help them, they will be eliminated quickly.

Eric and Danielle, Season 9 - These two were not originally partners in season 9. Eric was partnered with Jeremy and Danielle with her best friend Dani. They began dating after the show and have come to AR: All Stars as a team this time. They are afraid that the race might be hard on their new relationship.

Uchenna and Joyce, Season 7 - I was extremely disappointed when they beat out Rob and Amber to win the million dollars in season 7 but they did deserve it. Married 7 years Uchenna and Joyce are back to try and win a second time.

Charla and Mirna, Season 5 - A lot of viewers liked this quirky team of cousins. A fatal mistake at an airport in one episode cost them the race. They were the nemesis of Colin and Christie.

Kevin and Drew, Season 1 - Viewers loved the banter between these two and were disappointed to see them get eliminated the first time they raced. Now that they are back in All Stars, things are still not looking up for them. One member of this team fell in the first episode, hurting his shoulder and badly scraping up his knees. Later on their car began to have tire trouble.

Joe and Bill, Season 1 - Known as team Guido, these were the two to beat in the very first season of AR. They will lie to your face and throw sand in your eyes if it means that they can get in front of you. They have traveled the world and have the advantage when visiting foreign countries and they tend to reach places before other teams. They lost in season 1 however because they made the mistake of relaxing in a hotel instead of finding the quickest flight to their next destination.

Teri and Ian, Season 3 - At 53 and 54 they are the oldest couple in the race but they will probably make it a few episodes before they are eliminated. This team does not give up easily. Ian is a bit rough around the edges and this makes other teams view him in a negative manner.

Teams I would Have Liked To See Again

Frank / Margarita, Season 1 - They came in second and did not win but their constant bickering and ability to get far in the game made for a great season of Amazing Race.

Derek / Drew, Season 3 - The hated twins of season 3 were actually great guys. The other racers were simply upset that they were great and played the game to fullest without eye gouging and backstabbing. They lost when they took too long to find their next clue. I was disappointed to see such a strong team lose and find it strange that they are not in All Stars Edition.

Colin / Christie, Season 5 - The team that I was shocked to not see was Colin and Christie. They were the team to beat in season 5 and I would have loved to see another showdown between them the Charla and Mirna as well as seeing them interact with Rob and Amber. I guess it would have been hard to capture all of the evil plotting on camera.Amazing Race Season 6 cast - No one from this season was chosen for All Stars and that is hard to believe considering that their were a lot of great characters whether you loved them or simply loved to hate them.
