Three teams of "Amazing Race" contestants for season 17 have been announced by CBS and Reality TV Magazine had the latest details. The show will debut Sunday, Sept. 26 with a 90-minute special. See who the 11 teams are and what categories they fall into.

"Amazing Race" 17 Team: Couples

Nick DeCarl and girlfriend, Vicki Casciola - Henderson, Nevada.
Chad Waltrip and Stephanie Smith, dating - Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Jill Haney and boyfriend, Thomas Wolfard - Marina Del Ray, California.

"Amazing Race 17 Team: Family

Michael & Kevin Wu, father and son - Sugar Land, Texas.
Gary Ervin and Mallory Ervin, father and daughter - Kentucky.
Andie DeKroon and Jenna Sykes, mother and daughter - Georgia.

"Amazing Race" 17 Team: Friends/Co-Workers

Friends: Nat Strand (Scottsdale, Arizona) and Kat Chang (Santa Monica, California)
Co-workers: Brook Roberts (San Diego, California) and Claire Champlin (Reno, Nevada)
Best Friends: Ron Kellum (Los Angeles, California) and Tony Stovall
Friends: Katie Seamon and Rachel Johnston - New Jersey.
University friends: Connor Diemand-Yauman and Jonathan Schwartz - Princeton University attendees

    Good reporting. I really miss the Amazing Race. It only lasted 1 or 2 seasons in the UK (local version). I wish they would syndicate this and Survivor.
