Amazon Mom Means Free Shipping and Big Savings

What is Amazon Mom?
Despite the catchy name, this free program is open to parents and caregivers of babies or young children. Amazon Mom gives shoppers discounts and perks when shopping at Amazon. There is no age cap, but the program benefits, including discounts on diapers and wipes, are mainly for infant and toddler products.
Shoppers can sign up for a free three-month membership. Members can earn an additional month of membership, up to one year total, for each $25 spent within a single order in Amazon's Baby Store. Qualifying baby products have a banner at the top of the page.
There is no sign-up fee, automatic renewal or other hidden charge. In the third month of membership, Amazon sends an e-mail that shows a current end date for your shipping benefit based on how much you have spent in the Baby Store.
Free Two-Day Shipping
Amazon Mom offers the same free shipping benefits as Amazon Prime without the hefty membership price. (Prime membership costs nearly $80 per year.) Products are often available from multiple sellers, but not all qualify for shipping promos. Choose Prime eligible items to receive free two-day shipping.
Subscribe and Save
A 15% discount is standard for subscribe and save, but Amazon Mom members save 30% on subscribe and save purchases or select diapers and wipes. Managing subscription is very easy. If you are unsure of your future needs, set the frequency to every six months. This will give you plenty of time to sign in and modify or cancel the subscription.
Promotional Offers
Amazon sends e-mails with sales alerts and promotional codes for additional savings. Members can also provide the ages of their children to receive targeted offers.
Share the Benefits
After signing up, you can go to your account and invite up to four members of your household to share your benefits. You will need to include each recipient's birthday. They will need to enter your birthday for verification.
Make the Most of Amazon Mom
Using Subscribe and Save, Amazon has very reasonable prices on diapers and wipes. Use Amazon's e-mail offers or coupon codes from Parents magazine to save more on top of the 30% subscription discount.
