Lives have been sacrificed
Tears have been shed
Years have gone by
Families suffer
Thru tears and pride
Reaching for the goal
That never seems to come
Peace and Love toward
All of human kind
When it seems so close
We could reach out to it
The world falls under the spell
Of hatred and war and fear
And America the Beautiful
Once again must sacrifice
Its own blood
