America: Born July 4, 1776- Died, January 20, 2009

"Change has come to America," were the ironic words that President Obama echoed during his victory speech the night of the election. His words have never been so true. The foundation of America under Obama's brief tenure is shaking if not crumbling right before our very eyes. The Founding Fathers of our nation laid down the foundation in creating the most powerful nation in the world through blood and great effort. The recent legislative changes that President Obama and congress have passed put America on a path of losing her individualism as a great nation. I interpret this as the beginning of the end of America as we know it. Unfortunately, the actions of this administration have put the world on warp speed in fulfilling Bible prophecy. For the saints and true patriots of the United States of America take heed, granted it's hard not to be alarmed about the radical direction that our nation is going. According to the Bible, our nation- the United States of America is not mentioned during the Last Days. Based on the actions of the current administration, we may be beginning to witness the reasons why. God told Abraham that He would bless those who blessed Abraham and curse those who curse him. (Genesis 12:3) This scripture describes how our success or downfall as a nation is intricately tied to America's treatment of Israel and the forecast of our nation became dire on January 20, 2009.

It's quite interesting to watch Obama in how he has treated Israel since he became President. During the campaign, Obama appeared to support Israel, "If somebody was sending rockets into my house where my two daughters sleep at night, I would do everything in my power to stop that and I would expect Israelis to do the same thing." But so far his administration has made it clear to Israel that a two-state solution must be honored with the Palestinians and has openly made it known that Israel should not take any action to defend herself from the Iranian nuclear threat. From U.S. Emissary- George Mitchell, Secretary of State- Hilary Clinton, to Vice President- Joe Biden, the current administration has made it clear exactly what it wants Israel to do. So much so that the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu said, "Somebody needs to tell Obama that Israel isn't the 51^st state." But by the contrary, Obama has treated other countries differently. Leaders from Europe, Jordan, Turkey, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, and even Venezuela were welcomed with open arms and have not had any harsh demands on them that would compromise the security of their country.

One can not dispute the startling contrast Obama has treated Israel when compared to Arab nations. To many Israelis, Obama's actions of making friends with Israel's worst enemies are more than a bit disconcerting, if not troubling. In a recent poll, only 38% of Israeli respondents believe Obama's attitude towards Israel is a friendly one, compared to 73% in the 2007 poll regarding Bush. (ynetnews.com) It appears that America does not care about the security of Israel and this puts America in direct conflict with the Word of God thus putting our nation under a curse.

Is our nation already under a curse? Some of the writing is already on the wall. During the close of the Bush administration, the United States economy took a severe downturn forcing Bush to give bailouts to struggling companies, since then America's economy has considerably taken a turn for the worse. Obama has loaned billions and billions of dollars to banks and auto companies which in essence has placed a heavy tax burden on citizens and future citizens of the United States. This tax burden will cause citizens to revolt and detach themselves from a country that they no longer consider to be morally connected to. With all the people in the U.S. losing their jobs, there are fewer and fewer people paying into the social security system and paying any kind of taxes. Due to the economy and government bailout, the administration has increased pressure to collect more money from those that do have a job. A deep division will form within our nation, possibly forcing an exodus of intelligence capital from America.

America can not afford these bailouts. Russia and China have already proposed a new reserve currency. Qu Hongbin, the chief economist of China stated, "This is a clear sign that China, as the biggest holder of the U.S. dollars financial assets, is concerned about the potential inflationary risk of the U.S. Federal Reserve printing money." According to the Financial Times, on March 24, 2009, China proposed replacing the U.S. dollar as the international reserve currency with a new global system controlled by the International Monetary Fund. Having the U.S. currency fade away aligns with Bible prophecy. The dollar is connected to our supremacy as a nation and it must be removed. The U.S. inflation has made some question the true value of the dollar- forcing some to recommend that gold is the standard that all currency should be held to.

Financial services veteran, Jerome Corsi has made reference on how the U.S. dollar will be replaced by digital gold. Digital gold is a form of electronic market backed by gold storage. Corsi believes that when the dollar collapses, digital gold as a private bank-managed currency may replace it for international transactions (worldnet daily.com). In addition, Corsi states that globalists are now promoting digital gold as a private bank solution to the potential devaluation of fiat currencies. This is exciting prophecy progression for believers. The Bible describes how during the Last Days the Anti-Christ will have power over the treasures of gold. "But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans, ad the Ethiopians shall be at his steps." (Daniel 11:38,45) As the global economy continues to fail, Daniel words are quickly taking place. Eventually, America must fall in order for the kingdom of the Anti-Christ to rise.

Shocking clues reflect how America is losing the battle to maintain her sovereignty and sanctity of freedom that citizens hold so dear. For example, the right to free speech is in danger. On April 30, 2009, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Hate Crime Bill H.R. 1913. If made into law, the bill would add violence against individuals based on sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or disability to the list of federal hate crimes. Currently, federal law only covers crimes committed on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity or national origin. Congressman Louie Gohmert of Texas believes that this proposed legislation is unfair because it does not protect religious speech. "You can go after a minister who says relations outside of a marriage of a man and a woman are wrong, and that, is all authorities would need to seize a pastor's files, computers, copies of speeches, CDs, and DVDs to obtain evidence for prosecution."

The foundation and policies of our country are blowing in the wind while everyone seemingly watches in silence. Obama has nominated Harold Koh to serve as top legal counsel of U.S. State of Department. The American Center of Law and Justice is extremely concerned about Koh because by his own definition he is a transnationalist. Jay Sekulow of the ACLJ explains transnationalist believe that the U.S. Constitution is subservient to international standards, and is not to be the standard upon which U.S. courts are even to interpret our Constitution -- that international norms should be the highest standard." Sekulow commented on Koh's nomination, "I do not like the idea of the sovereignty of the United States being sold to Europe -- and that's what I am afraid is happening here (onenewsnow.com)"

As America stands with Israel, we do not need the leader of our country to proudly proclaim to the world, "That America does not consider herself to be a Christian nation." Nor do we need a leader who does not observe the National Day of Prayer. Mr. President, who then do we call upon in our time of need? So good-bye, America, God has shed His light on us and it is slowing dimming. Yes, our nation is on a fast track of change. The question is: will the change be beneficial for those who love God and America? America is known for being a nation that is sovereign, home of the free- free to worship the Lord. The Lord who gave us freedom and the opportunity to live in a country that gives freedom and liberty to each and every citizen. Slowly this nation has turned into a society that has the citizens working for the government when instead the government should be working for the citizens. It is crucial that we as a nation stand with Israel in her time of need, for these sorrows are just the beginning of what is in store for our nation if we do not.
