As a lifetime Republican, I changed course last year and voted for Barack Obama. I did this because by blindly supporting Bush for 8 years, I was just looking stupid. I stood by him and defended him in every conversation.

Today I support Obama. Though, Republican, I see that the only way out, is extreme change. We heard during the elections that the programs Obama was giving us info on was, borderline Socialism.

We heard over and over that he was going to turn us into a Socialist Country. The die hard Republicans that have our ear on TV such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mike Huckabee and our illustrious Ann Coulter have pounded and pounded those tired accusations into our heads. Sort of like the Bill Ayers thing and Obama being Muslim. They are still doing it nightly.

Every single idea Obama comes up with is bad, according to these know it alls'. The sad thing about these guys is, they don't know anything better to do about our economy or Iraq or health care. Exactly where would they have gotten the knowledge and experience to fix everything that is wrong. If they did, they would have helped Bush out while he was still in charge. Now, all of a sudden, they are experts on everything. They are sure he is a Socialist and they are determined to continue to tear his administration down.

It is really only about, they lost and Democrats won. They don't care about the state of the country or about the person struggling trying to keep their homes or jobs. They all have jobs. Big paying jobs on TV. They aren't in any danger of losing their jobs as long as they keep the public stirred up with some sort of controversy or another. Ratings stay up and they keep getting paid. Millions of Americans listen faithfully and are influenced to trust what they say. Right or Wrong!

What ever happened to a "United" States of America? The gripe of the month is how he is handling the economy. After the mess he was handed from the "Republicans", that now know the answers, what was he supposed to do? Sit in the White House and act like he can't fix it because everyone is afraid of Socialism? Bush gave out the original money people. Have you forgotten?

The last 8 years have been a complete circle jerk in Washington, DC. People have gotten away with murder. Republicans and Democrats.
Can we fire everybody in Congress and the Senate and start over? Many, such as Nancy Pelosi and the Military Escort she received are still trying to get away with murder. Both PARTIES are corrupt. Both of them are trying to screw over America.

Why? Why are they more concerned with their business vs ours? Too many years of getting away with it. Now when America needs the people in Washington to work together and try to get the RIGHT answers, they are pulling in different directions. Still worried about winning for their sides.

The TV crowd feeds off of that rivalry. They keep America divided and scared. They preach Socialism and talk about Obama being nothing short of the Anti Christ, then sit back and laugh at our expense.

Ann Coulter is such an unhappy person it is sad to watch. She lives on griping, complaining and talking about other people. Her insecurities shine and it makes her money. Smart for her, I guess.

Mike Huckabee makes me laugh. He is the consumate entertainer. He can play his guitar and sing and talk trash all in the same show.

Sean Hannity is ultimately the stupidest man on TV. He will sit there with a straight face and say ANYTHING, truth or not. He manipulates the opposing ideas with interruptions, and rude comments. The cockiness is not cute and he is so one sided always. Fair and balanced? Sure!

Rush Limbaugh is yet another loud mouth who just doesn't know when to shut his mouth. Sort of the T.O. of radio. He needs the attention to function. Like the drug thing. Look at the attention he got over that. Now they are portraying him as the "leader" of the Republican Party. Are you kidding?

I think I will officially become a Democrat. If the Republicans are listening to Rush, come on. He hopes the plans Obama has, will fail. No, Sorry, that is asinine. It is borderline crazy.. If it fails dummy, what happens to millions of people who are failing now? Are you going to support them or give them a job? NO!

I don't believe for one minute, Obama is trying to create a Socialist Government. I do know that if you are any kind of judge of character, you know he has not been standing on the podium for over two years, lying to America. I know that hype makes money and if there is enough of it, some people continue to be rich. Millions of people agreed with me and voted him in.

From the Speculators on Wall Street to the highest Republican in the land, everybody wants what they want. They want to win no matter the cost to Americans on Main Street.

Instead of pulling together and fixing our country, we are fighting and talking junk. Meanwhile, our country is sinking. There are more kids homeless than ever before. That means more families living in their cars or boxes or crowded shelters. More future losers of America.

But, Sean Hannity wants to make a dollar. His job is secure. Rush Limbaugh is being seen and heard. He feels good. No problems for him.

The Republicans are mad Bush was a failure and John McCain and that idiot from Alaska, made them look ridiculous in this election. The problem is Georgie and Dickie did this. They allowed or instigated everything that is happening today.
Didn't hear much from any of these guys during that time frame.Barack Obama didn't contribute to this mess.It has been less than 3 months and he appears to be moving to help as quickly as he can.

There have been numerous comments about the language President Obama uses when talking about the state of our situation. He hasn't been as positive as many feel he should.Yet, we sit and listen to these kings of bad attitudes and no ideas.

The general theory has always been, United We Stand, Divided We Fall! I see America becoming a vulnerable place if we don't get back to basics. America used to be a GREAT Country. Today, we are a STRUGGLING Country. Education, health care, Iraq, the economy and more.

I haven't heard anyone give any ideas to do a better job than President Obama is trying to do. I only hear criticism of everything he does. Instead of the TV talking heads making money from tearing him down, why not offer some workable programs to help. After all, you say you want to help America, right?

I think this is a job that everyone needs to offer input. Especially in the spending of the money. I think oversight is needed from all angles. These guys would be remembered more for their bi-partisan criticism and watchdog activities, instead of just looking for a win.

If they would monitor all those executives and dirty business dealers, I would actually watch for something other than to get angry. However, just criticizing and tearing down everything this new administration does is not helping anyone. I wish they would get that.
