AMERICA MORALLY ADRIFT:

The U.S financial condition is worse than it was during the Depression, not just due the mass loss of jobs and the critical fiscal condition, but due the lack of high integrity and moral standards at the nation's leadership positions. After surviving two multi-term presidencies of individuals of low character, morals, and integrity, we now have to endure one that now comes with the cover of being Black. Mr. Obama didn't get elected simply on his good looks, silver tongue, the lack of true a competitor, or even having powerful backers, but also due to the rampant wave of political correctness, and a White guilt and Black entitlement mentality. Simply due to the color of his skin will make any criticism of him hazardous politically. The 7 plus Supreme Court appeals questioning his true nationality have gone unanswered, due to the social ramifications of disqualifying him. The many people, Black and White, believe that to declare him constitutionally unqualified would be done because of his color, not because his lack of qualifications. Nevermind what you and I may think of this man, or any man seeking higher office, but the integrity of the Office should never be placed in jeopardy due to the lack of the qualification and or integrity of the man seeking it, or in it. If there is any doubt of this, or any man's, qualifications for the highest office in the land, or anyone seeking political office, with a informed and educated public, everything should be paused till such time as there are no more doubts. But, that is not what is happening. Question is, why not?

Today we have a Governor of Illinois caught red-handed conspiring to sell a vacated Senate seat. He still demands that he has done nothing wrong and fights to stay in his office. A Mayor of New York was forced to resign due to extramarital affairs. U.S President G.W. Bush swore to the people of America that our sons, daughters, husbands, and wives were being sent to fight on the sands of Afghanistan and Iraq to retaliate for the attack on us on September 11, 2001 and remove "weapons of mass destruction" [wmd] from Iraq, for they posed an "eminent threat" to the U.S. Nearly eight years later, and counting, absent the fact that none of the supposed attackers came from neither Afghanistan or Iraq, but Saudi Arabia, there has not been any "wmd" found in Iraq, both once sovereign nations are in worse condition structurally, nearly every relevant member in the U.S Congress is profiting from the conflict, while the cost to the U.S taxpayers, financially, emotionally, and psychologically soar, and the obliteration of the fabric of the U.S military quickens. We still don't know why nor how the attack happened, or who was truly responsible for it. President Clinton was impeached for lying to the American people. Now his wife, who herself openly lied to the Senate, over the Rhodes Law Firm billing records, and who knows what else, has been elected Senator and now seeks to be the U.S Secretary of State, representing the people of the United States. And a man who championed the call for "change" for two years to become the President of the United States has not only surrounded himself with people of very questionable morality, integrity, and character, as well as loyalty to the American people (every one of his appointments, as well as himself, are members of either the Council on Foreign Relations [CFR] or the Trilateral Commission, who are extreme proponents of a weak America and one world government). He himself has shady traits as he has admitted in his own book "Audacity of Hope" having strong socialist and communist favoritism, an issue totally unaddressed during the so called campaign, was elected to the U.S Senate without true competition, without waiting to be reelected by the citizens of that State, he has been elected the highest office in the land, again without true competition, and will become the most anonymous man ever to capture the Office the President in the history of the United States. Makes one wonder, after everyone wakes up from all of the hysteria and euphoria over the election of "first Black U.S President," just what kind of "change" is in store for this republic?

The common response for electing obvious morally and or ethically deficient people to office is, "He was the better of the two bad choices," is no rational excuse in these critical times for our nation. It's like having to choose between being raped by a few 1 or 20. You are still being raped. We should not put a person in office who we would not want our daughters to date or be able to speak with others in the highest regard. This nation of so many morally-grounded people, we should be able to find one to serve us. If not, what does that say about our nation? There are several passages in the Bible that give us all guidance for electing people to serve us and tell how fundamental morality and righteousness is to a strong nation; Exodus 18:21, " you shall select out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, those who hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them as leaders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens," and Proverbs 14:34, " Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people." Alexis de Tocqueville, a great French historian and political scientist in the 1800's prophetically stated, "America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great."

For all of the baffling events of the past year or so, maybe we need look no further then the decrepit state of our moral base. Not so much in the leaders of this republic, but in the mirror as well. How can we allow our government servants to blatantly lie to us when it comes to their personal behavior, yet trust them when they say that we must allow the transfer of billions and trillions from our Treasury to the banks and pockets of international financial institutions, without any accountability to us? How can we allow millions of foreigners to enter our county illegally, have politicians and international industry leaders treat them as legal, openly disregard our laws, and not have the youngest of us rightfully question, if not redefine, what is right and wrong? Maybe even confusedly question what is right while excuse what is wrong? How can we allow two presidents to blatantly lie, deceive, and manipulate us, without serious retribution or penalty, and honesty believe that it was the first time or that it won't be attempted by others? How can we be ignorant of the true majesty and uniqueness of this Constitutional Republic, not be knowledgeable of the Constitution that recognizes our Devine inalienable rights and liberties, yet be able to ensure that our servants [government officials] adhere to it? How can we allow the abolishment of Devine fundamentals from view and the presence of our young and not expect for them to grow with a severe lack of respect for It, and therefore themselves and others? And if we ourselves do not have high standards of morality and integrity in us, is it any wonder that the people we place to serve us in high office are absent of those traits? So, therefore our country suffers. Our government is a reflection of the people who elects it, therefore a reflection of the nation, just as a child is the reflection of the parent that creates him, and thus the house from which he comes from. We have only ourselves to blame for the condition that our country is in, whether it is to be good or to be bad; whether it is to be the land of free men of high character and standards and welling to responsibility for one's action, or a land of immoral and unethical decadence and a place where right and wrong changes with the winds.
