American Craft Beer Week - a Microbrew Beer Enthusiast's Dream
Celebrating Diverse American Craft Microbrews Since 2006
The solution? Celebrate American Craft Beer Week May 17 -23, 2010. Started in 2006 by the Brewers Association to promote small American craft brewers and their flavorful microbrews, American Craft Beer Week is now endorsed by the U.S. Congress and comedian Stephen Colbert. In 2009, more than 200 breweries formally participated in this "Mother of All Beer Weeks".
Who is participating?
Craft brewers, craft beer breweries, homebrewers, beer enthusiasts, beer distributors, and beer retailers will all be making American craft beers their center of attention during this special beer week. Many cities in the USA are also having official "Beer Weeks" during American Craft Beer Week. To find a beer week in your area, visit the events schedule.
Where is it held?
Craft breweries around the United States will hold special events at their breweries to showcase their microbrews and their brewery. A few microbreweries will be opening their doors for the first time during American Craft Beer Week. To find out what's happening at a brewery close to you, check your states information on American Craft Beer Week.org.
What can you expect?
American Craft Beer Week participants can expect special brewery tours, new beer releases, brewery openings, special beer festivals, homebrewing focus events, and dinners with beer food pairings.

Special Craft Beer Festivals - Central Coast Brewing (CA), Iron Hill Brewery (PA), and Rogue Ales (OR).
New American Craft Beer Releases by - Avery Brewing, Bell's Brewery, Cigar City Brewing, Freetail Brewing, Full Sail Brewing, Limestone Brewing, New Belgium Brewing, TableRock Brewpub, and many more.
