American Express Opens My Wishlist for 2008
Makes Dreams Come True Through Amazing Deals and Packages
T-mobile seems to have teamed with American Express this year. The G1 phone, aka "the google phone" is being offered through the store-front for just $125. The phone normally retails, with a 2-year contract, for $199. It's one of the latest cell phones to come out and it's spectacular. A sleek design is coupled with a slew of amazing features. Basically it's T-mobile's answer to the AT&T exclusive iPhone and I love it.
Card member can also enjoy amazing savings on Laptops and computers. American Express has teamed with Dell to offer cardholders a great deal on the Studio laptop offered by the company. The laptop is a powerful one with great customization options. It is being offered to cardholders for just $499, substantial lower than its MSRP.
I'm a true shopper at heart. I love to spend my time shopping myself silly and honestly I can't afford it 90% of the time. Amex could make the dreams of many come true with one of their wishlist offerings. The Rafe Croc Convertible bags on the site are probably one of my most coveted items on the wishlist. The bags are being offered for between $185-$350. The normally retail for between $400-$600, so overall the savings is amazing and the bags are absolutely gorgeous.
Aside from products the company is offering great deals on travel. Skiing and Snowboarding can be an expensive endeavor but American Express is making it much more affordable through My Wishlist. The Okemo Ridge Resort in beautiful Ludlow, VT is offering card holders 30% off 2-day Ski & Stay Package and the Kids ski for just $1 through the offer. I love vacations, but I hate the expense and this is one deal that should not be passed up.
Cruising the Caribbean sounds pretty nice right about now. New York has headed into its long and angry winter and getting away is probably just what most angered New Yorkers need. American Express is offering 15% off suites that are booked using the AMEX card for any Caribbean cruise between now and 2010. I can just smell the sea air right now.
Another great travel deal is the Luxury Resorts Boca and West Hollywood Accommodation Package. The luxury resort is a pampering haven for the most overworked and under appreciated people on the planet. The 2-nights stay for two is being offered for just $500, far below market value. I wish I was there already.
American Express is doing something amazing. They are not only offering deals on items but they are offering once in a lifetime experiences and amazing trips to people who desperately want and deserve them. I'll be keeping my eye on the wish list as it develops now through Dec. 18th.
