American Hero: Rachel Corrie, an Update

I was so moved by this extraordinary young lady and the profound evil that murdered her that I wrote an article about Rachel Corrie some months ago and I was repulsed to read what a pro-Israeli wrote in regards to Rachel's story; so much so, that I feel compelled to speak for Rachel's' memory again.

In my research since that horrible day on September 11th, 2001 I discovered all roads lead to Israel, a nation built on Jewish Zionist Terrorism and sustained by Christian Zionist Terrorism; a nation intent on the ethnic cleansing of all Palestinians and the unleashing of mass slaughter of nuclear war to expedite the Apocalypse so that White Supremacists Evangelical Fanatics in America can go to their White Heaven and live with their White God and the rest of us are simply annihilated.

Rachel understood this and she dedicated her life to freeing the innocent from the cataclysmic disaster Israel is unleashing on all of us and for that Israel killed her, while she was on her knees, praying. Israel is a nation built on hate and evil and this comment regarding Rachel Corrie is yet another horrifying example of Zionist contempt for Truth and innocent life:

"She was in a ditch. Protecting a weapons tunnel. No house anywhere near. She was a tool of violent, intolerant, despicable wastes of protoplasm. She did not only die in vain, her life was a waste."

This cowardly comment was written by an anonymous writer who calls himself 'OlyFriend' ; like all intellectual midgets he hides in the shadows of his own lies where he can fester in his own hatred and disseminate his inner malignancy from the safety of the shadows.

Once I picked up my bruised heart from the floor, my heart that feels like a grape being squeezed between the finger and thumb of a brutish thug, my heart that bursts with sorrow for Rachel Corrie and her family, I printed this reply to his inhumanity:

"Olyfriend: I'm going to leave your' vile, despicable comment up so that everyone can read the virulent hatred you and your pro-Israeli scum are spreading into the world. Rachel Corrie was bulldozed by Israeli war criminals while kneeling and her life is more precious and more valuable then the entire despicable nation of Israel"

Evil devours innocent life with no regard for truth or morality and in honour of Rachels' heroic life I feel it's time to re-publish the original article:

American Hero: Rachel Corrie

I have fret over the soul of America; my worry is assuaged by Rachel Corrie. A true American hero for a world gone mad and a nation losing itself she serves to remind us all, there are true Peace Warriors in this world. Rachel in all her glory and her beautiful grace knelt before the oppressor and stood up to the tyranny of hate. She is what every mother would be honoured and privileged to call daughter; she makes me proud to be a believer in hope. Rachel is a warrior for all those who hunger and all who struggle to feed their minds and for all who are oppressed and all who fight so hard for small dignities every day. Rachel sacrificed her breath so that we may keep on hoping and not feel ashamed as we stand tall and demand truth and say no to the pounding of the death march.

I stand with Rachel Corrie.

She stood up for all of us so that we may gain the strength to overcome our fear and our cowardice and put on our Peace Soldiers Uniform to fight for those who fight for themselves. We will all rediscover the soul of America through the grace and empathic struggle of Rachel Corrie. She will have saved us from ourselves.
One of the last people to see Rachel witnessed her murder, Tim Dale tells us about her last terrifying and BRAVE last moments:

"Rachel knelt down in the bulldozers way, she 10-20 metres in front of it, clearly visible, the only object for many metres, directly in its view. The bulldozer drove toward Rachel slowly, gathering earth in its scoop as it went. She knelt there, she did not move. The bulldozer reached her and she began to stand up, climbing onto the mound of earth.

She appeared to be looking into the cockpit. The bulldozer continued to push Rachel, so she slipped down the mound of earth, turning as she went. They pushed Rachel, first beneath the scoop, then beneath the blade, and then continued till her body was beneath the cockpit. They waited over her for a few seconds, before reversing. They reversed with the blade pressed down, so it scraped over her body a second time.

I ran for an ambulance, she was gasping and her face was covered in blood from a gash cutting her face from lip to cheek. She was showing signs of
brain haemorrhaging. She died in the ambulance a few minutes later of massive internal injuries. She was a brilliant, bright and amazing person,
immensely brave and committed. She is gone and I cannot believe it."

I can not believe it either.

I learned of Rachel Corrie today and was profoundly moved and touched by this gentle dove with the extraordinary spirit and richness of character that lead her to the moment, the place where she was slaughtered.

Rachel Corrie is America; she is my new America. I stand side by side with her and I am grateful she lived so strongly and cared so much and I will not let her die in vain.

I will not.
