"American Idol" 2011 Nashville Auditions Feature Powerhouse Lauren Alaina, Hayseed Matt Dillard, "The One"?

"American Idol" 2011 auditions continued January 27th on FOX as the singing competition's bus pulled into Nashville. Judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson played host to a herd of talented (and some gravely talentless) hopefuls in the storied Ryman Auditorium. Here's a rundown of the best the "Idol" auditions Nashville had to offer.

* Rob Bolin and Chelsee Oaks, both 23. Discord was never so harmonious. The singin' exes may have delivered some of the most awkward social interaction footage in "American Idol" history, but they cranked out a gorgeous duet, and then followed it with two solid solos.

* Stormi Henley. Miss Teen USA 2009 practically whispered her rendition of "Father Can You Hear Me," but still got a hearty "Wow!" from Steven and yesses from both guys. J. Lo was less than impressed with her compadres' flagrant maleness.

* Adrienne Beasley, 22. The African American daughter of caucasian parents delivered a slow, striking version of Lady Antebellum's "American Honey" that left Steven scratching his head in a good way.

* Jackie Wilson, 28. Super de duper high notes and some serious feeling from the unassuming blonde in the denim skirt secured a golden ticket to Hollywood.

* Matt Dillard, 27. Another 'don't just a book by its cover' moment from the "American Idol" auditions. The unemployed overall-and-cowboy hat wearing hayseed looked like a country singer gone wrong, but delivered a Josh Groban tune in fine fashion. It was shocking, and earned a no from J. Lo, but yesses from Randy and Steven.

* Lauren Alaina, 15. All three judges were blown away by her audition; J. Lo was brought to tears, and Randy declared that she has "a natural God-given talent". She ushered her family in to meet the trio, and sang a clip of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", her parents' song. Her mom looked like she might keel over right there and then watching Lauren perform. (But she didn't.)

Before the final credits rolled, Steven declared that he thought they'd found "the one" in Nashville. So is he right? Is Lauren Alaina the 2011 "American Idol"? Dunno! Keep watching and find out.
