American Idol 2011 Stefano Langone Should Have Been Sent Home Not Pia Toscano

Bottom 3 - Stefano Langone, Pia Toscano and Jacob Lusk

Olga L. Chacon
This week on American Idol 2011, the Top 9 contestants performed songs from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Tonight, Stefano Langone, Pia Toscano and Jacob Lusk are at the bottom 3. America was shocked to hear Ryan Seacrest announcement that Pia Toscano was going to be the one leaving tonight. Okay, first people voted off Casey Abrams from the competition, but thanks to the judges that didn't happened. And now, viewers voted off Pia Toscano? What's going on here America?

Pia Toscano's Performance

Yesterday, the judges on American Idol, Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson all had something good to say after Pia Toscano's performance, "River Deep, Mountain High." Steven Tyler said, "There are a million guys in a million bars having a million drinks about you." Awesome!

Jennifer Lopez said Pia's performance was amazing, her vocal was fantastic, and was hot. Randy Jackson said that Pia Toscano was in it to win it. It's no surprise that the judges had great things to say because Pia Toscano has nailed her performances every single time.

Jacob Lusk's Performance

Last night, Jacob Lusk sang, "Man in the Mirror." It was a great performance. The judges on American Idol were blown away by Jacob's performance. Jennifer Lopez said she loved the message that he shared. Randy Jackson was proud that he stayed true to himself. It's no shocker that Jacob Lusk was unbelievable on stage once again.

Who Should Have Been Sent Home?

Of the bottom 3, Stefano Langone should have been sent home. I don't have anything against Stefano, but let's be fair here. Stefano's performances in the past have been okay and some good, but not great. Just yesterday, after Stefano's performance, "When a Man Loves a Woman," Randy Jackson said the first part of his performance was a little jerky.

The first weeks of American Idol, Stefano Langone wasn't connecting with the audience in his performances. He started doing this the last couple of weeks. Stefano Langone does have the potential, but unfortunately, there's not enough time on the show for Stefano to reach his potential.

This is American Idol, and Stefano Langone is competing against very strong competitors. These strong competitors have been killing the stage with their outstanding performances week after week, such as Pia Toscano and Jacob Lusk. No doubt about that.

I am in disbelief, pia, by far had the best voice, maybe not the best intertainer. I believe that people did not vote for her has I didn't because I and a lot of others knew she would be there at the end because of her talent. Whats up with paul, intertain yes sing no.Need a revote!

I agree it should be three fourths audience and one fourth the judges. If your not sexy and shake your hips you don't get to far. I agree about the half naked guy on theshow get real we have young children watching.

Pia has the best voice of any of the contestants. I think Paul McDonald should have went home but he wasn'tin the bottom 3 that said I would say stefano should have went

Why are there judges on American Idol? I like that the viewing public can vote for their favorite, but it should be a conbination of the judges and the viewers. The final decision should be with the experts. Bring Pia back and let 2 go next week.

American Idol has hit rock bottom. First, you bring out a half-naked idiot to 'perform' and then you send home the most talented contestant. Shame! I won't watch again.

If you don't like the outcome, don't put it out for audience participation. The judges said it was wrong, the audience didn't "Do the right thing" so, who would the judges HAVE sent home? How did they make the other 8 feel? And they, as judges, put these people there to start with. And what happens next week? Which one will they agonize over?? This is a competition, they have to get down to ONE person, the rest must be eliminated.
