American Idol 2011 Top 2 May 19; Will Haley Growl Her Way into the Finale?

American Idol is down to the wire now. We go from your top 3 to your top 2. Will it be country boy Scotty with the unique voice, country girl Lauren, or screaming Haley? Two of these Idol contestants will make it the finale, while the other one will be sent home. Tune in May 19, to see your American Idol top 2 revealed. Will Haley be eliminated tonight from the top 3? Haley's song choices were "What Is And What Should Never Be", "Rhiannon", and You Oughta Know." Throughout this whole competition, Haley was one of the underdogs. Her journey on Idol was like a roller coaster up and down. Reinhart went from bottom 3 sometimes to having the best performance of the night. Each week with Haley was unpredictable. The weeks fans thought she was going home, Haley stayed and came back with revenge with her performances. The more she screamed, the more the judges liked her. Personally I felt she growled way too much, but her voice did make her quite popular with the fans.



If Idol fans are looking for that quirky, growling, and raspy voice, they will choose Haley for the finale, and send home one of the country goers. I mean after all, is it Country Idol, or Pop Idol?



Haley's Shining Moments



If I had to choose, it would have to be when Haley sung "Bennie And The Jets" a few weeks back, "You Oughta Know" which she performed last night or her Milwaukee audition when she performed "Oh Darling." I thought she put a lot of attitude,and determination into these three song choices. It's funny how we all look back on the auditions, and say to ourselves how good Haley was, and also Lauren. What happened?



Haley's Odds Of Winning



Ok let's get down to the nitty gritty here. If Haley ends up in the finale against Lauren, her chance of becoming the next American Idol is huge. However, if it's a Scotty/Haley finale it's going to hurt. Scotty will out beat her for the simple reason teenybopper girls equals huge amount of votes. And the way todays country music is going, Scotty has it made.
