American Idol: The Best Voted Off and the Final Two

As much as I enjoyed Ameican Idol this season, a lot of really dumb things happened. The first thing was giving Matt Giraud a save. The next thing was America voting off Alison, Anoop and Danny. Lil, if you have noticed changed towards the end. She kept 'saying' she wanted to win, but would not do what the judges wanted.

If the judges told me I sounded like a particular artist, I would always attempt to perform that artists sound and style with whatever song I sung. Lil Rounds response to me, the way she was acting, was like she missed being with her hubby and kids. She had the tour, so why go for the win?

I don't get why Alison was voted off. She is really, really good and was mostly consistent. I think that was stupid. Also Anoop. Simon took the chance on bringing him back. He had two really good performances before America gave him the boot. Unfair.

Danny. *sigh* His downfall was messing up "Dream On" by Aerosmith. America did not forgive him.

Despite that, though, all of them will have really good careers from this point on. So I have to say that the top ten are all winners. Oh, yeah. You want fame, and fortune? Just get yourself on a reality show and if you prove entertaining enough, your life will change big time!

Last nights performances I have to say that Adam Lambert has proven to be the winner. I just loved, loved, loved
the way he did "Mad World"! The second song was just as good. The last song that Kara wrote, I didn't like too much, but he still rocked it out to the fullest even though it wasn't perfect. Now I know why I haven't heard of Kara DioGuardi. The song had too many words in the chorus. It just was not balanced.

Kara didn't even think about how Kris would do! The song was obviously too high for him to sing. I think the best performance that Kris gave was his first one. He was really lame singing "Ain't No Sunshine" and "What's Going On". There was no feeling. It was as Simon said on the latter song, (I hope I'm saying it correctly) that it was as if he was in a college dorm room singing with friends.

If you want to win a serious competition such as this, you sing your little behind off. Adam did that. Even singing "Mad World" he put oceans of emotion behind it. Kris lacked that throughout the evening. I think he attempted to try to redeem himself at the end, but unfortunately the song was not in his vocal range.

In the beginning of this competition, Adam annoyed me a little. I mean, it was the whole 'rocker' persona thing. Then as he began to sing-really sing songs that were not rock, instead of screaming all the time, I dug him more. He put twists on the songs he sang, to make them more interesting. I realized he was in this to get the title.

I think that Adam will win, but...America could prove me wrong. I predicted that Danny, Adam and Alison, (I think )would be the final three. I was wrong. America wants a guy to win. Honestly they should have given Danny another chance, but I guess there's no messing with an Aerosmith song!

I will say this though, Kris did a great performance on Kanye West's "Heartless". That was brilliant. So, America, who is going to be this time? Fifteen minutes to go...
