American Idol - Chris Medina and Juliana Ramos Love Story (VIDEOS)

The third show of season 10 of American Idol took place in Milwaukee and was certainly filled with "special" moments! We saw Randy Jackson inadvertently slap contestant Molly DeWolf Swensen in the face while he was running through a crowd. Click here to see video.

We saw a camera man stomped by an American Idol gymnast. Click here to see video.

We saw a parade of contestants who were not picked behaving very, very badly. We saw curse words bleeped out, we saw someone knock the camera out of a camera person's hand. We even saw one contestant storm off the stage immediately following her audition before the judges even ruled against her.

But it was Chris Medina and his sad love story that really broke hearts. Medina is 26 years old. He said he and his fiancee, Juliana Ramos, have been together for 8 years and engaged for the last 2 years. Two months before their wedding date, Juliana was in a car accident and suffered traumatic brain injury. After she woke up from a coma, Medina says she needed full-time care and he and Juliana's mother became her caretakers.

When Medina finished his song, Breakeven by The Script, the judges asked him to bring his fiancee in. Juliana was in a wheelchair, very obviously disabled. All of the judges shook her hand and introduced themselves. Then Steven Tyler bent down and whispered in Juliana's ear, "That's why he sings so good, because he sings to you". It was heart wrenching!

When Juliana was being wheeled out after Chris Medina's audition, she held up the paper, to the best of her ability, showing that her fiancee had made it through to the next round. At one point, Medina leaned over for Juliana to whisper something to him. He announced that she said "I knew it."
