American Idol Has Michael Jackson Night

According to Reality TV Magazine the American Idol Top 13 will perform songs of Michael Jackson in this Tuesday's American Idol elimination round. But don't count on the King of Pop making an appearance, he won't be hanging out with the Idol's and offering tips on their singing styles.

Additionally Fox has confirmed that Tuesday night is in fact Michael Jackson night for the now 13 American Idol wannabes.

We have already been privy to a bit of Jackson's music this season. Matt Giraud did "Who's Lovin' You" by the Jackson Five, and Kris Allen did a great job on his rendition of "Man In The Mirror".

Think we might see a little "Thriller", or "She's Out of My Life", or maybe some "Billie Jean"?

The Top 13 American Idols take the stage this week and begin the elimination rounds. In case you have been under a rock for the last few days, here is the list of the Top 13:

What Michael Jackson songs should these American Idol wannabes sing? The judges have stated over and over again this season that it is all about song choice. So here is my list of the songs that I would like to see the American Idols select to sing from for Tuesday's night show:

And based on listening to the Top 13 perform so far, I really hope we don't hear:
"Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough"

"Say, Say, Say"

My personal prediction is that my favorite Adam Lambert, the next American Idol, will sing "Dirty Diana" and he will rock the house with his version of this Michael Jackson song.

On the coming Wednesday American Idol, 3/11, two contestants will be voted off instead of the usual one. And there will be special guests for the evening. Both Kayne West and Kelly Clarkson are schedule to perform on the Wednesday elimination show.
