American Idol: Lambert Mulls Offers
As a part of the grand finale on May 20 Lambert performed with the American rock band KISS and with members from the English rock band Queen. Following those performances Gene Simmons of KISS and Brian May of Queen stated that they were impressed with Lambert and his voice. In the case of Simmons, the rocker has extended an offer to Lambert to tour with KISS whenever Lambert would like; an offer Lambert says he is considering. While not going into any details Lambert says that he has received a number of offers after the show was over.
As for May, he said that there was too much going on after to show to talk but that he (May) and drummer Roger Taylor would like to have a meaningful conversation with Lambert. May added that he would certainly like to work with Adam.
Of course, there is always the solo option or going the way of Fellow "American Idol" alum Chris Daughtry who formed his own band and has sold five million copies of his self titled debut album.
When the concept of "American Idol" first came about, it was only the winner who was guaranteed to have a record contract, but over the years many of the contestants have found themselves signing record deals and becoming a success. Idol alumni who have signed record deals find that they have more freedom when it comes to recording the type of album they want to make. For the winners that freedom comes later, at least until after the first album has been released.
With 100 million votes did the fans pick the correct winner on "American Idol" when they chose the laid back pop crooner Kris Allen? Only time will tell; when the albums come out sometime in the fall and the sales are recorded and charted.

Post a CommentHe certainly wouldn't put me to sleep like the other two would.He sings ballads as well as rock and much more.while I would definite pay to go see Adam, I wouldn't do that for Kris or Danny.

Sorry, but the majority of people like crap!!! Just listen to the radio. It's filled with Dannys and Kris. Safe and middle of the road. America had a giant chance to prove they were not routine and predictable, but they blew it big time. So here's a 57 year old male who after 4 years of watching America get it wrong, is dropping the show from his weekly habit.
Wrong, I am going on the tour to see Danny and Kris, although Adam has a good voice--he would give me a headache after about 10 minutes. Not surprised that he was offered gigs with KISS and Queen, totally up his alley and NOT what the majoirty of people like!
I don't know how much longer they will be available, but on iTunes Adam receives 9 cents for each song sold. Napster has Adam singing "Is Anybody Listening" from the musical production of "The Ten Commandments" where he plays Joshua, Val Kilmer is Moses, and the Idol single "No Boundaries".
ADAM FANS! when adam's cd is out, make sure we buy as many copies as possible!!!

There are artists that have never reached Adam's number of fans and they have been trying for years.Adam's fans are here,there and everywhere and keep growing; therefore, no stopping, there is a lot of fun and experiences and living to do. Adam Lambert is a success that has started already and is well under way.
There are those starting with only their small community to support them. Adam has world wide support already.He is runner-up,even those in 5th place should be busy on their careers. Adam will be successful here and overseas. Adam, if you have to doubt something, doubt your limits. Dismiss negative comments, because even on your worst day, you had millions of votes!Truth, and it does set you free,huh?

Judges,mentors,guest singers all commend Adams talent.He is highly successful, right now, because everyone already is interested. Keep moving forward carried with all the interest generated by american idol.Don't put on the breaks,makes no sense. For all we know, the only difference in the number is so very minimal, that it is the reason the individual numbers were never given.
Adam can do whatever choice is for expansion and not a fear based choice. Millions of us fans are in place and waiting.The momentum is in his favor. Gowith the flow.Accept success now.
Votes do not = dollars. Adam is already a worldwide superstar who can write his own ticket. Just think: how many Idol tour tickets would be selling right now if Adam Lambert was not in the mix? Danny Gokey and Kris Allen. Matt Girard. Anooop? Not that these are not good musicians and singers... but, as Paula said so many times: Adam is in a totally different league and it is Adam that will sell tickets...and 19 Entertainment knows it. They do not want to lose Adam and I would expect some major money is being discussed as I write. Oh, yeah. M.A.J.O.R. M.O.N.E.Y.... and well deserved too.
TYPO correction "Adam has the unworthy" should be read "Adam does not worry too much about the unworthy"...
BTW, from insiders, 19-E is planning budgeting more on Adam and provide him with unprecedented flex in working with procedures and song writers. Who are you kidding, Adam can draw more revenue worldwide than Kris can ever do and 19-E knows it. It is all about $$
