American Idol Results Shockingly Put Adam Lambert in Bottom Two
Hey American Idol, Show Us the Real Number of Votes on Results Show
We are to believe that forty seven million people voted and Adam Lambert ended up in the bottom two? Adam, who has brought us some of the most unique and talented performances of any American Idol season, might have went home.
Let's go back through Adam's contributions to the American Idol stage this season. He started his Idol career with a difficult audition song of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and then moved into his own version of "I Can't Get No Satisfaction".
Adam Lambert's early performances on American Idol included "Ring of Fire", "Black or White" and "Tracks of My Tears". Remember that "Tracks of My Tears" got Adam a standing ovation by Smokey Robinson.
Later American Idol performances have included Adam Lambert's unique renditions of "Born To Be Wild", "Play That Funky Music", "If I Can't Have You" and the latest "Feeling Good". My personal favorite Adam Lambert performance to date, remains when Adam did "Mad World" by Tears for Fears and received a hugely deserved standing ovation by Simon Cowell.
So I have to ask, with all those incredible performances and all the web hits that Adam sites are getting, how could he possibly end up in the bottom two last night on American Idol? In my mind it just isn't possible.
I would like to see the actual voting results. I want to see the numbers from whatever company tracks all these millions of American Idol votes. How many votes did Allison get? How many votes did Chris or Danny get? I don't just want Ryan telling me who is safe and who is going home. I want numbers and I think we should demand them.
It's possible that this was just a public relations stunt by Fox to level the American Idol playing field and perhaps add some suspense and drama into the final episodes. After all, it has been a pretty boring American Idol season, Adam Lambert had stood above the other contestants the whole way and has always been safe. It was never in question before.
There are numerous reports today all over the web of people that are wondering the same thing as I am. So American Idol was this just a stunt or are the voting results real? Prove it to us. We want to see the actual vote numbers for the final weeks of American Idol Results Show. Then maybe we will believe you.

I agree! It was definitely an Idol stunt and I think we should see the numbers.
BIG FAT PUBLICITY STUNT. No way is Adam going anywhere this week or next.
Mary...Even though I had to go to bed early, I was shocked when I awoke to the news that Adam Lambert was in the bottom THREE on AI, let along bottom 2. Behind Danny Gokey? Excuse me? I also call "foul", especially after Nigel Lythgoe's recent revelations. One other side of it - Adam is already a professional entertainer. Could the AI execs have cooked this up with him - for ratings going into sweeps month - knowing he could pull it off with them?

What they did was cruel. They wanted shock value and did it for ratings, at Adam's expense. I give him MAD props for picking a group too. He didn't wuss out. ALSO, we aren't sure if he was actually choosing who he thought were the TOP VOTE getters either. He was asked to go to the group he felt he belonged in. He said based on Last Night's Performance and walked to D/A. MATT GIRAUD said Adam chose that group, cause he was unhappy with his performance and so therefore, he might have thought they were the bottom group, cause he was quoted as saying, he never thought he'd see Kris in the bottom, so that would make sense, why he didn't go where Kris was. He thought Kris was in the TOP and felt he belonged in the BOTTOM.

American Idol is so secretive about the votes and never publishes results even though the winenr supposedly is decided by a democractic voting system. I hardly believe it.
Its hard to believe Adam was in the bottom 3 because:
1)Almost all of Adams songs were ranked in the top 10 of Itunes during that Itunes leakage last week, passing up everyone.
2) Adam had the most google searches in March, about 6 million. I think Kris Allen was next at about .5 million.
3) Adam has the most items for sale on ebay and the most expensive items for sale on ebay, there are dolls made after his image selling for up to $300.
4) Adam has the most hits on youtube then any contesant, lots of fan videos as well as pre-idol performances
5) Adam has the most comments for his one single performance of the week then any of the other contestants combined on the official American Idol site under video performances of the week.

Awesome Article!!!! Adam is clearly the best technical singer, performer, entertainer and star on the show. There is no way he was in the bottom Wed night. He is the most downloaded on iTunes and has millions of views on Youtube. American Idol loves to create drama and personally I think it was DISGUSTING the way AI manipulated and tried to humiliate Adam, not to mention pushing him around like a ragdoll! That is no way to treat someone who has consistently behaved honorably and with the best manners. I can't believe that the judges would go along with such a twisted charade. Adam is the best and this 'little' show will not stop him becoming a superstar. An ON-AIR apology is in order!
Did I miss something? I think if you go to AmericanIdol.com & watch the results show recap, putting Adam with Matt & Kris was a fake-out. After sending Kris to safety, Ryan said that Adam was safe, then shoved him over to the side where Allison & Danny were waiting & said THOSE guys were the top 3. Pay attention, people. If you actually watched what happens every week, they're always playing games with the results to try to get people on the "edge of their seats"...apparently they're failing to even get people to follow along to the point that they know what's going on at all!
