Not to say that he doesn't deserve it, I mean who am I to say that people shouldn't get a second chance, right? But really? Out of Siobhan, Katie, Tim and Didi, I truly believe Didi, poor little emotional thing, wearing her heart on her sleeve, deserved to come back next week and show the world that she has what it takes. But then again, I am only one person, unfortunately.
Needless to say, next weeks performance's will be bittersweet, at least for me. I thoroughly enjoy watching, in admiration, these talented folks get up on stage and either nail their performance or butcher a great song. But a girl who I honestly believed in will be missing in action. I always looked forward to hearing Didi sing. There is just something about that voice of hers. The honesty and conviction.
I guess I have no choice but to settle for Tim, Siobhan, Katie, Michael, Andrew, Casey, Aaron and my two ultimate favorites, Crystal and Lee. (which of course I am more than excited to see those two perform). But it will not be without sadness in my soul for the tenth idol who will be missed and definitely not forgotten.
So next week, Beatles week!!!!!! And obviously I for one am excited. I absolutely LOVE the Beatles and their music, and I can't wait to see what the remaining contestants have up their sleeves for this one. I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Crystal and Lee will dominate the stage and take an already amazing song and make it their own (and make it awesome). I can't even begin to imagine what the song choices will be. I just really hope nobody takes on "Imagine." Because let's be completely honest, no one will do it justice like David Archuletta. He made that song his and no one can take it from him.
Whatever happens, it should be interesting and hopefully entertaining. Not like this week which seriously left me a little turned off. I have been an Idol fan since the beginning, and I really hope that this season doesn't ruin it for me. Like the season Taylor Hicks won. (what ever happened to him by the way?). Oh well, let's just be real this next week during voting people. We need to stop voting for the ones we feel sorry for, and vote for the talent.

- American Idol - April 11, 2006 The inspiration this week on American Idol was Queen. Queen proved to be a little tough, vocally, for many of the Idol contestants. Queen's songs have many chord changes, and many of their songs are also hard to perform.
