American Idol Says Goodbye to Ramiele

Ramiele was booted off American Idol tonight. I was really sorry to see her go. What she didn't have in stature and in the stereotypical blonde American beauty, she made up for in talent, heart, and sensitivity. I think that is why she has lasted as long as she has. The other ladies tower over her. I am especially sympathetic to her because I too am short and not the typical American, tall, blonde, skinny girl. I think her amazingly sensitive, gentle spirit has made her very popular. Ryan is especially gentle and sensitive to her. In previous weeks he has been so sweet, and not made her wait long to tell her that she is safe. She cannot hide her feelings. She is dynamite in such a small package. I love her and her big voice in such a small body.

Although she has not made it to be the number one American Idol, it really doesn't matter. She is still going to be rich, famous and a great singing star. I liked that they showed what some of the past rejects of being the number one American Idol are doing today. Bo Bice is one of the ones featured that is doing great and has a CD coming out soon. She will also be able to tour with the top ten. You can tell she loves them all like family. I love the way Brook mother's her. Brook by the way is another one of my favorites because of her loving, heart and sensitivity.

Dolly Parton is also very short in stature and remarked on Ramiele's being short like her. She performed for American Idol tonight, and although she is not one of my favorites. She is a great song writer and is a very caring talented performer. She was very kind, and encouraging to all the American Idol hopefuls. I still think that David Archuleta is number one, at least in my heart. I agree with Simon when he says that American Idol is often about popularity and not just talent. But then that is the way it is with stars. They have to have charisma and personality not just talent.

There is not one of them that I dislike or that I think don't have talent. I have to say that my favorites are still David Archuleta, Brook White, David Cook, Michael Johns, Carlye, and Jason, and also the one with the really hard name! Ha! Not even going to try to spell that one. I believe that she saved herself this week with her Whitney song! Simon was of course critical but I think they all did a fantastic job.

I am ready for next week! I hate to admit I am addicted to American Idol.
