'American Idol' Season 10 Results Shocker: No One Went Home!

Victoria Leigh Miller
Thursday night on "American Idol" the Top 11 contestants waited and waited to see who would be sent home. But it looks like they'll have to wait another week.

After their own Motown-themed medley, a surprise performance by Stevie Wonder (which included birthday greetings for judge Steven Tyler ), a weird cameo from Hulk Hogan and more music from Sugarland and "Idol" alum Jennifer Hudson, the "Idols" learned that the bottom three contestants were Stefano Langone, Thia Megia and Casey Abrams.

It was a heartbreaker of an announcement, because this was the week that also determined who would get to go on the "American Idols Live!" tour this summer.

And in an even more surprising turn of events, it turned out that the popular Casey Abrams received the lowest number of votes this week.

But Abrams still had a chance to keep himself alive. With one final song in his repertoire (he chose '"I Don't Need No Doctor") Abrams began to sing in an attempt to convince judges Jennifer Lopez , Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson to keep him in the competition. It didn't take much convincing.

In a results shocker, the judges quickly agreed to keep Abrams on board. Even more shocking? They used their one and only save of the season with weeks left to go in the competition. Guess that shows us, huh America?

That means any other contestants are out of luck when it comes to being saved, so it's do or die time. One other note: because of this unusual non-elimination situation, all 11 contestants will get to go on the tour. But next week, two contestants will be sent home.

So with the Top 11 left intact, The "American Idol" tour participants are :Casey Abrams,Thia Megia ,Jacob Lusk ,Lauren Alaina, Stefano Langone, Haley Reinhart, Scotty McCreery, Pia Toscano, Paul McDonald, Naima Adedapo and James Durbin.

The next episode of "American Idol" will air on Wednesday, March 30 at 8:00 pm ET on FOX.

In truth, I would have sent home Thia, Pia or Stephano on the basis of their performances. But Casey didn't deserve to go home so I'm glad they saved him.
