Featured guest on the show Akon appeared on the show singing his song "Don't Matter" to start a great upbeat aspect to the show before announcing the idol contender to leave. The bottom 3 contestants for this show rounded up with Phil Stacy, Haley Scarnato, and Chris Richardson. While Phil and Haley end up in the bottom 3 almost consistently each week, Chris was a newcomer to the group.
Chris was returned to the safety of the couches fairly quickly, leaving the same bottom group as last week. It seems Haley and Phil are becoming quite accustomed to always pulling the least amount of votes week after week. Of course, before making the final return to safety Jennifer Lopez performed and sang her heart out.
People are left to wonder how long Sanjaya is allowed to stick around and who in their right mind is actually voting for him. This season has found several powerhouse voices including LaKisha Jones, Jordin Sparks, Blake Lewis, and Melinda Doolittle. America is left to wonder who is the next idol contestant to be voted off next week when the guest artist is Martina McBride.

Post a CommentHaley will do fine. She has a nice look. She just needs a coach to help her get the best from her voice. Her song choices hurt her.
I don't get to watch tv much and this is one show I miss. Thanks for the update.
I love watching the American Idol auditions--they are funny. I am not that eager to watch the show though. Great Article!
great article! while haley couldn't sing (IMO), sanjaya is one of the worst contestants i've ever heard/seen. if he wins, i'm never going to watch the show again. on another note, melinda is the one that should win the competetion. good writing!
Good article. I like your writing style. :)
I just watched for the first time this week. Sanjaya sounded like he did pretty well, but what do I know. I didn't vote for him though. My husband finds the whole Sanjaya thing funny, he's probably sneaking off to vote for him. ~~shudder~~
I was not surprised when Haley was voted off. She can not sing as well as some of the remaining contestants. Now if they would only get rid of Sanjaya things would be better.
I agree Sanjaya needs to GO!!
I have boycotted the show since Chris S. was voted off and will continue to do so until Sanjaya is taken out.
Hot legs don't always save ya, I guess. I'm resigned to Sanjaya staying for a while. But putting Phil in the bottom three all the time is a bloody crime. The man can sing -- he looks like a caricature, but he can sing.
