American Idol: Top 36, Group 2 Preview

Who's Hitting the Stage for American Idol Fans Tonight

Margaret Kerr
Thanks to President Obama's address to the nation, American Idol fans have to wait until tonight, Wednesday February, 25th, to see the second group of top 36 contestants hit the stage. So, what are the American Idol fans in store for with this group? Lets take a look at the group and see if we can figure it out.

We have Adam Lambert who is 26 years old from Los Angeles. Allison Iraheta who is 16 years old, also from Los Angeles. Jasmine Murray is also 16 years old, but is from Starkville Mississippi. Jeanine Vailes is 27 years old from Sherman Oaks, California. Jesse Langseth is 25 years old from Minneapolis, Minnesota and Kai Kalama, who is 26 years old from San Clemente, California.

We also have Kris Allen who is 23 years old from Conway, Arkansas. Matt Breitzke, who is 27 years old from Bixby, Oklahoma and Matt Giraud who is 23 years old from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Megan Joy Corkrey who is 22 years old from Sandy, Utah; Mishavonna Henson who is 18 years old and from Irvine, California. Last, but not least, we have Nick Mitchell who is 27 years old from Brookfield, Connecticut.

For the most part, there shouldn't be any major problems with this grouping. There is the question, however, of whether we will see Nick Mitchell on the stage or whether he will resurrect Norman Gentle for his first live performance. Either way, it'll be worth tuning in to see which person hits the stage. Other than Nick, there's not really any outstanding personalities, so the top 12 spots are wide open to anyone this week.

Tune in tonight, Wednesday February 25th at 8pm on your local Fox affiliate to see which of our American Idol hopefuls wow the judges and the crowd.
