American Idol Top 5: Allison Iraheta Smoking with Her Performance of "Someone to Watch Over Me"
Sixteen, Schmixteen. She's Got Chops
The best and most endearing bit of advice he gave was to Allison Iraheta. Allison performed the classic standard, "Someone to Watch Over Me". The song tells the story of a woman waiting for her her lover/protector. He helped her to find the depth of emotion to sing the song with confidence.
The result was an incredible performance, Full of simplicity yet powerful and heartbreakingly beautiful.
Allison possesses such a distinctive voice and a style that is solid. It's hard to see her as just a sixteen year old kid. She has the poise and talent of someone much older. She reminds me of a female Chris Daughtry. Despite her young age she's has outstanding rock chops.
With Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey battling for the first and second spot. Allison Iraheta will definitely make the Top 4. The sure bet to go home tonight is Matt Giraud, although the voters have slipped up before and sent a front runner home before so anything could happen.
Regardless to who wins the competition, Allison has held her own in a field dominated by the men. However Allison has proven that she's more than up to the task. This years field is incredibly talented and all of them have the potential to get a record deal even if their dreams of winning Idol don't come to fruition.

I haven't watched American Idol since Reuben.
I know that Allison can do better than Adam next Rock week.Of all the 4 contestants, she will be the best performer ever! The 4 judges will praise her as well as the audience.Simon will pick Allson and Adam in the finals and I know the people will definitely agree. There are many fans and supporters and new-coming fans of Allison. She has faith in God and she is our Savior.Next week,Allison can beat Adam. And we know Allison will be the next youngest American Idol.I don't believe the people saying Adam's gonna win coz that's just a rumor.A girl should stand and win this competition. So,believe me of everything I say!Allison Iraheta is gonna win!
