American Idol Tour in Tulsa, Oklahoma

On Saturday, September 13th, the American Idol Live Tour made its final stop on this year's tour at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The top ten finalists from this past season were each given a chance to perform. It was a very exciting, high energy show with great lights, sounds, and performances. The performers from the American Idol Tour performed in the order they were eliminated from the show. Here is an overview of what I thought was one of the greatest concerts I have attended:

¨ Chikezie - Chikezie started off the show. He was so humbled at the experience and got very emotional at a few points. His vocals were great, including an energetic performance of "Caught Up."

¨ Ramiele Malubay - Ramiele looked fantastic and her vocals were great. She was very good at getting the crowd to join in with her.

¨ Michael Johns - Michael started with a short version of "We will rock you" and "We are the Champions." He rocked the stage and even made a little guest appearance during some of his tour-mate's performances.

¨ Kristy Lee Cook - Kristy started with a fun country song. She ended with a heart felt tribute to the veterans of the country by singing "God bless the USA."

¨ Carly Smithson - Carly captured everyone's attention with her energetic rock show. Her vocals were strong and her stage presence got everyone involved.

¨ Brooke White - Brooke made a great entrance by rising up from the floor, playing a grand piano, and singing "Let it be." It was beautiful, and as always, she was barefoot and enjoying every minute of it.

¨ Jason Castro - Jason, again, captured the audience's hearts by opening with "Somewhere over the rainbow" with his ukulele. He then did an amazing version of Gnarl's Barkley's "Crazy." This was a great song choice.

¨ Syesha - Syesha looked stunning as she entered the stage and sang "Umbrella." It was full of great choreography and fun. She was definitely a crowd favorite.

¨ David Archuleta - The first David to perform that night did amazing, singing beautiful ballads, including "Apologize." He was very humbled and amazed at the crowd. Overall just such a friendly face and sweet personality with a strong voice.

¨ David Cook - Everyone expected so much when David Cook took the stage, and they were not disappointed! David showed why he deserved to win season 7 of American Idol with powerful vocals and entertainment. His version of "Billie Jean" definitely stole the show.

Overall, the concert was full of excitement. Tulsa was this tours last stop, but that did not affect the energy levels of anyone. This was an amazing show, and I will definitely be looking forward for more to come from these American Idols.
