American Idol: Who's Will Win and What's the Hype??

American Idol has been very interesting this season with the ever so popular Sanjaya and extremely diversified group of contestants!! After this past weeks cut of two of the top six contestants, Phil and Chris, it's now narrowed down to the final four?? Who do you think is going to win??? I think this year is going to be like last year where it comes down to a guy and girl both of which are great in their own unique way and the unlikely one is going to win. I think the final two are going to be Blake and Melinda. They are such different singers and so unique I really like them both but my vote is for Blake. When I try to envision the next American Idol and who I want to win I think about the person I would like to see in concert, someone who is going to entertain me and that is exactly what I see in Blake. I feel the odds are against him though since the other three left are great. I guess I'm just am placing my bet for the underdog!!!

www.votefortheworst.com has been quite the topic of conversation this season and since the voting off of Phil and Chris they have chosen to back Lakisha. I think it was truly amazing the pull they had in keeping Sanjaya on the show as long as they did, however it all makes sense with backing by such celebrities as Howard Stern.

Every year before the next season is about to start, I think to myself not this show again how are they going to actually find a talented person?? Haven't they been though all the talented people and I'm amazed every year at the ones they still seem to find. I am not what you would call an American Idol addict. I do enjoy the show however, and I think the main reason for the show's popularity and success is the way the average American can relate with the show. They imagine themselves or family members being on that stage and how much more real that possibility that is than say staring a movie with Brad Pitt!!! American Idol is here to stay and I think the fact that they have started to show reruns on daytime syndicate channels shows it's not going anywhere so all of you haters (i.e. vote for the worst) better dig in your heals and brace for season seven it will be here before you know it.

Cast your votes for Blake!! Unique contestants and winners are what this show needs to keep it credible and enjoyable to the American people and I know I will be watching the finale on May 23^rd!!!!!
