American Military University is not a classic brick and mortar school as they only offer online classes for Bachelors and Masters degrees. Also when in the military there is always the possibility of being transferred and stationed someplace new, with a brick and mortar school that poses a problem, it even can cause issues with other online schools. Most online schools have classes that start like a standard semester, however with AMU their classes start every month, and if there is a problem with being moved, then they can put the class on hold for a time instead of having to withdraw completely.
