American Patriotism Never Waivers

Many people are voting for just one or two reasons. Either it be for simply race or gender, or Democrat or Republican. Some are just voting for Obama because he is a better public speaker than McCain. Some things are just facts, and some are either exaggerated truths or blatant lies. Both sides would have you to believe what they are saying is gospel; however, there is no such thing as an honest politician. You have to be a professional liar to be in politics.

You really must do a pro and con list for each of them. Whatever you do, please remember two things. 1) You must take the lesser of two evils (even if you don't like either one). 2) No matter what they say, they cannot set up everything they want unless the people want it. So you see; if you are worried that the personal feelings of one of the President Elects will supersede what you, the public wants, you don't have to worry so much. Just because they want it, doesn't mean they will get it.

Some do not want McCain due to his age. Let me tell you something. Many people loved the ex-actor President Reagan. He was 70 when he was elected into office the first time, re-elected at 74. Therefore, I do not want to hear the excuse about McCain being too old. Give me something else. President Reagan was an excellent President. His campaign pledge was to "restore the great, confident roar of American progress and growth and optimism." This innovative program was accomplished, reducing the American public's reliance upon the Government. We rely on the government again and it needs to stop. We need another Reagan. No more government giveaways or programs! Take care of yourself, and your family. It will take time, and much effort on your part, but it can be done. Their will always be poor people, middle class, and the rich. It's up to you and how hard you work, to get where you want to be in life.

The almighty God, our symbol of peace, honor, and loyalty; the flag, and our precious military personnel are the backbone of this country. I will not forget how many of you want to take away our freedoms, and rights to which our Founding Fathers wrote for all to see forever. How dare you try to take those away from us, the real Americans, the real and true Patriots. I will NEVER vote into office any man or woman who refuses to pledge our flag!! How dare you!!

Do you know Obama's take on Crime and Punishment? No? Why not? Because, he does not like to talk about it. You will find out about it first hand, if he is voted into office.

Senator Barack Obama is soft on crime; do we really want to succumb to this simply for race, or so-called change's sake? Do you really want someone as Liberal as him? Do you really want someone who refuses to pledge the flag of the United States or sing our National Anthem?

How about the Health Care Issue? What Obama is saying about McCain sounds very bad doesn't it? It is all lies and exaggerations. "Barack Obama and Joe Biden have consistently lied to Americans about John McCain's Plan. Their claims have failed every fact-check - from CBS to the Washington Post. John McCain is not going to raise taxes on middle class families. Barack Obama and Joe Biden are the only ones in this race that plan to raise taxes. How does Obama plan to pay for his plan?"

McCain's take on Healthcare Issue:

• "Obama Fiction - John McCain will tax health care benefits for the first time and will be the largest middle class tax increase in history.

o Fact - This Obama charge is a blatant mischaracterization of the McCain Health Plan. what he fails to mention - is that John McCain's generous refundable tax credit ($5,000 for families and $2,500 for individuals) will not only shield millions of families from a tax increase but will actually give them MORE dollars to invest in their health care needs."

• "Obama Fiction - The McCain Plan will reduce Medicare spending by billions by "Cutting Benefits, Eligibility or Both."

o Fact - John McCain believes that we can achieve savings in Medicare without reducing benefits or eligibility. He has proposed common-sense reforms that will not only put Medicare on a path of financial stability but ensure access to quality care for millions of Americans."

• "Obama Fiction - John McCain will tax health care benefits for the first time and send the money straight to the Insurance Companies.

o Fact - Here is what they purposefully fail to mention - the credit goes to the insurance company that the American family chooses to get coverage from, anywhere in the nation. The power of choice lies with the family - not government bureaucrats or insurance companies. Under the McCain Plan American families will not only decide where the tax credit should be directed for their coverage needs but any additional money left over after purchasing coverage will be controlled by the family in a portable health savings account. Ridiculing this line of strange attack, The Associated Press stated, "Of course it would, because it's meant to pay for insurance. That's like saying money for a car loan will go straight to the car dealer." Obama Criticizing His Own Approach: Most importantly, Senator Obama is criticizing an approach that is used by his own HOPE credits - where tax payer money simply goes from the federal government to colleges."

• "Obama Fiction - Americans with pre-existing condition under the McCain Plan will not find coverage.

o Fact - No American should be denied access to quality and affordable coverage simply because of a pre-existing condition. As President, John McCain will work with governors to develop a best practice model that states can follow - a Guaranteed Access Plan or GAP - that would reflect the best experience of the states to ensure these patients have access to health coverage. There would be reasonable limits on premiums, and assistance would be available for Americans below a certain income level."

Obama's take on the Healthcare Issue:

• "Improve efficiency and lower costs in the health care system by: (1) adopting state-of-the-art health information technology systems; (2) ensuring that patients receive and providers deliver the best possible care, including prevention and chronic disease management services; (3) reforming our market structure to increase competition; and offering federal reinsurance to employers to help ensure that unexpected or catastrophic illnesses do not make health insurance unaffordable or out of reach for businesses and their employees." • Increasing competition in the insurance industry. Premiums have skyrocketed, increasing over 87 percent over the past six years. Barack Obama and Joe Biden will prevent companies from abusing their monopoly power through unjustified price increases, and Joe Biden's new National Health Insurance Exchange will help increase competition by insurers.

• Barack Obama and Joe Biden will guarantee affordable, accessible health care coverage for all Americans. Americans will be able to maintain their current coverage, have access to new affordable options, and see the quality of their health care improve and their costs go down.

• Tax credits for families and small businesses. Create a new Small Business Health Tax Credit to provide small businesses with a refundable tax credit of up to 50 percent on premiums paid by small businesses on behalf of their employees. To be eligible for the credit, small businesses will have to offer a quality health plan to all of their employees and cover a meaningful share of the cost of employee health premiums.

• Require coverage of children. Barack Obama and Joe Biden will require that all children have healthcare coverage. Barack Obama and Joe Biden will expand the number of options for young adults to get coverage by allowing young people up to age 25 to continue coverage through their parents' plans."

First, let me say that you cannot guarantee any of this! Secondly, Obama never said how he plans to pay for this. Thirdly, requiring coverage of children sounds good, however, what if the parent can't afford it? Is there a fine? How much? Is there jail time? How long? Obama's campaign admitted that their plan is all in the wording. Why would he give low-income families more tax cuts? Low-income families do not pay taxes because the tax breaks already give all of the money back and more. I am classified as poor, and I get all the taxes I pay - back and a lot more with EIC! So essentially, I and people like me, do not pay taxes. So why GIVE more? Give the breaks to the middle and upper class. They are the ones who pay taxes; they're the ones who need the extra money more. There are many questions with his plan. Do you really want to vote someone in office that does not answer your questions? Looks are deceiving, and talk is cheap! SHOW ME!

Neither Senators are perfect nor no one can agree with all that any politician has to say. This country is headed for Communism; which relies heavily on the government. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist ) There are people who have run from governments like this, why? It is no way to live! We are a free country who are loosing rights and freedoms. Why? People seem to like government programs, sitting on their rump, and giveaways. These things are popular in government ruled society.
