American Presidents Depicted on Coins and Paper Currency

Gail Sanders
If you are like me, you probably know that President Abraham Lincoln is depicted on the penny (1 cent), but do you remember (without checking your change), who is on the nickle, dime, and the quarter? And you might know what denomination I'm referring to when I say "here's a Jackson for you", but do you know whether you should prefer a sack full of "Wilsons" or a sack full of "Grants"?

Here is a list of the American Presidents (in order of monetary denomination) that are depicted either on coins or paper money.

Abraham Lincoln is depicted on the penny (1 cent)
Thomas Jefferson is depicted on the nickle (5 cents)
Franklin Delano Roosevelt is depicted on the dime (10 cents)

John Fitzgerald Kennedy is depicted on the half-dollar (50 cents)
Dwight David Eisenhower is depicted on the silver dollar.

American Presidents Depicted on Paper Currency

Thomas Jefferson is depicted on the $2 bill.
Abraham Lincoln is depicted on the $5 bill.
Andrew Jackson is depicted on the $20 bill.

Blessings!
