People also like to make excuses for not to vote. Like they won't be able to because they don't get off work in time to cast in their vote or simply just continuously procrastinate to the point where they don't even remeber to vote. Out of all of the presidential elections that we have had in the past I can safely say that this one will be interesting because we have a female candidate, african-american candidate, latino-american candidate and others. With just those few candidates this will be an election to remember and hopefully this time their will be more people to vote for the election than to have american idol votes surpass the election once again. It's your life and your vote. Get out and vote people and make the right choice this time because if we get anybody that's even similar to Bush, then don't complain about you'll just have to deal with the consequences for at least another four years and a potential eight years. You must be asking yourself, "How did Bush get re-elected?" because the same people voted for him and the others just procrastinated all the way up to the point to where they didn't vote at all and take note at how they are the first ones to complain about all of the flaws that the current president possesses. Also about how we need a new president.

Post a CommentMy seventy year-old parents are not ever going to vote again, they are fed up, and believe that the elections are rigged. Also, my late great uncle Wallace, longtime Florida resident and painter, said the same thing before he died. He had also lost faith in the system. Why should I 'trust' you? Why should I continue to vote for the lesser of two evils? I'm sick of it. And don't tell me I have no right to bitch. I love this land dearly, and it just makes me sick what's happening to it.
