Americans Have so Much in Common

Rainlillie
On a local radio show one day, the host asked the question, what does black America want from white America? First I thought: where is black America; where is white America; Is there an Asian America; could there be a Mexican America? Silly me, I thought we all lived in one America.

The question should have been what do we as human beings, want from one another. The answer is simple-we all want to be treated with respect; we all want to feel as though we are welcomed, no matter what part of the country we are in. We all want our children to feel that they are just as intelligent as the next child, regardless of race. We all want our children to be safe, happy, and healthy. I believe basically we as Americans want the same things.
