I paid only $1.89 for an eighteen point twenty five ounce box. Compared to other cake mixes on the shelf, this was certainly a bargain. I could have easily spent double this price on a more popular brand, but I am very glad I didn't.
Preparation of this cake mix is a snap. After heating the oven to three hundred and fifty degrees, a cake pan should be greased and floured and set off to the side. The next step is to empty the dry cake mix into a large mixing bowl. Three whole eggs, one half cup of vegetable oil and one and one third cups of water get added to the mix. The ingredients then get blended by hand or with an electric mixer on low speed. If using a mixer, it will take about two minutes of medium speed beating to fully combine the ingredients. About four hundred and fifty strokes by hand will also get the job done. The finished mix should then get poured into your chosen pan.
Depending on whether you are baking a round or rectangular cake, or a tray of cupcakes, the total amount of baking time will vary by a few minutes. Your finished treat will be ready to be removed from the oven anywhere from twenty to fifty five minutes. The appropriate baking time according to pan size and cake style should certainly be noted and followed for the best results.

From my first bite of cupcake baked with America's Choice Deluxe Devi's Food Cake Mix, I was hooked. The rich chocolate taste was absolutely delicious. The miniature cakes were light and airy and absolutely burst with flavor. I finished them off with chocolate frosting and a pinch of sprinkles, which made them even more scrumptious. I can not wait to experiment with this cake mix for my holiday gatherings. I give this product a full five star rating and definitely plan to stock up the next time I go shopping.
