Reality TV is everywhere. In the old days, if you wanted to be a star, you did it the old fashioned way; you pounded the pavement and paid your dues. You sang in dives and you acted in C list horror flicks that went straight to video.

If you wanted to be a sports star, you practiced for hours each day. You shot baskets or hit balls well into the night. You worked out, you fought your way to a starting spot on your team. And then you fought to keep your spot. It didn't matter if the sport was football, basketball, baseball, softball or even golf. You earned your way onto a team through hard work and dedication.

That was of course in a world prior to Reality TV. Back when television was for actors and not every day Joe's who can become household names over the course of a few weeks. Now there are reality programs for becoming a producer, a super hero, boxer, and a job as a six figure apprentice. It stands to reason that the world of reality TV would eventually invade the world of sports. And it has in the form of ProDreams.

ProDreams.tv is a reality based television program that searches for those players the scouts never found, never had the chance to see, gave up on or ignored. ProDreams.tv is where those players will get their shot to prove themselves. A chance to quit living with what could have been, and try to make it a reality.

Sleeping Dog Entertainment, LLC & Matt LoGuercio, in Association with Diamond Kings Academy and the New Haven County Cutters present televisions first baseball reality show.

Registration period is from March 15, 2007 to April 15, 2007, Tryouts begin April 23rd at Diamond Kings Academy in Bristol, CT.

Everyone who registers to tryout will be evaluated by the staff the New Haven County Cutters of the Independent Can Am League on their ability to compete as a baseball player on a professional level. Through a series of ability tests, practices and scrimmages, a final team of 12 will be chosen to get their shot to compete against a team of professionals, the New Haven County Cutters. At the end of the game the staff will decide if any player from that game may be awarded a contract with the Cutters.

Just as with real life, there are no guarantees that anyone left standing, will be giving a contract with the Cutters. But you will have the opportunity to say, "I once had the chance to....."
