America's Got Talent 6 Auditions: Vegas Birds

Vegas Birds is a parrot act that auditioned for the 6th season of America's Got Talent. Debbie and her parrot made it to the second round in Las Vegas after receiving a "yes" from all three judges. This unique act has a chance of doing pretty well if Debbie can bring on more birds that are different but as impressive as her first audition.

In this audition, she had a funny conversation with her parrot, which spoke part of the script. This was not so impressive, as it is easy to condition birds and other animals to react to specific external stimuli. But what I found really unique and fun was that her parrot could mimic sounds of other animals, like dogs and cats. I have never seen that in my life and found it refreshing. It is not as good as a human impersonator but was obviously more unique.

Debbie promises that she has some other tricks up her sleeve with other parrots that she has trained over the years. I am actually excited to see more of this Vegas Birds act. The pacing is not so great, and that will probably lose votes. I doubt that Vegas Birds and Debbie can win, but I'd like to see more of them and think they will make the voting rounds if she delivers on her promise to bring on more impressive and unique parrots.
