"America's Got Talent" Hollywood Results Show, Part 4

The Fourth Twelve of the Top Forty-Eight Acts Perform; Four Are Voted to the Second Round

Alice Clair Gunkee
America has voted for their favorites from the third group of 12 of the top 48 talents chosen for the "America's Got Talent" finals. The 12 contestants in the running to go on to the second round of eliminations are (in alphabetical order): Anna & Patryk, ArcAttack, Da Maniacs, Doogie Horner, Lindsey Stirling, Mary Ellen, Murray, NU Covenant, Prince Poppycock, Rudi Macaggi, Strikers All Stars, and Taylor Mathews. Read about their live performances at "America's Got Talent Live in Hollywood, Part 4."

The Thirteenth Semi-Finalist on "America's Got Talent"
The first three talents to be called to the stage were Doogie Horner, Mary Ellen, and Murray. It's pretty easy to pick the winner from these three AGT contestants. Murray is the thirteenth semi-finalist on "America's Got Talent."

"Taio Cruz" on "America's Got Talent"
Now we take a break from the voting results as artist Taio takes the stage and sings a tune. Since I have never heard of him before and I don't care for that kind of music the fast forward button came into play here.

"America's Got Talent" Contestants Receive the Red Carpet Treatment
Contestants were treated to red carpet festivities as they attended a special screening of "The Other Guys" starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. They also got to meet Will and Mark in person as they showed up for the screening also.

The Fourteenth Semi-Finalist on "America's Got Talent"
The second trio of talents to be called to the stage was Taylor Mathews, Da Maniacs and Lindsey Stirling. To choose the winner from these three was also easy. Taylor Mathews is the next semi-finalist on "America's Got Talent."

The Fifteenth Semi-Finalist on "America's Got Talent"
The third trio of talents called to the stage was Strikers All Stars, Nu Covenant and Prince Poppycock. This is another easy pick as confirmed when Prince Poppycock is announced as the fifteenth semi-finalist on "America's Got Talent."

"Bret Michaels" on "America's Got Talent"
Now it's time to take another break from "America's Got Talent" as Piers and Sharon's friend rocker Bret Michaels takes the stage and performs his long standing hit "Every Rose Has It's Thorn."

The Sixteenth Semi-Finalist on "America's Got Talent"
Okay, now back to the show at hand. The fourth and final trios of talents left to be called onto the stage were Rudy Macaggi, ArcAttack and Anna & Patryk. This is a tough a call. First the act receiving the lowest number of votes from these 3 acts will be sent off and that is Rudi. Now the judges have to pick between Anna & Patryk and ArcAttack. Piers doesn't think ArcAttack has any more to give - that they've plateaued in their performance so his vote goes to Anna & Patryk. Howie likes ArcAttack best saying he would buy a ticket to see their show in Vegas. I can't imagine what kind of show ArcAttack could put on if they had some money behind them. Now it's up to Sharon to decide who will be the sixteenth semi-finalist on "America's Got Talent." After much debate with herself she chooses ArcAttack. I'm sure their rendition of "Ironman" had no impact on that decision whatsoever (tongue in cheek.)

Tune in Tuesday, August 10, at 9 pm ET on NBC for a network first as 12 YouTube talents perform on "America's Got Talent." One of these acts has been chosen by YouTube voters. Read more about the YouTube audition process here.
