America's Got Talent Portland Auditions 2

America's Got Talent is still in Portland, Oregon looking for some amazing (not weird or stupid) talent. The eight Portland talents that were sent through by the judges to Vegas include (listed in alphabetical order by first name) - AscenDance, Christina & Ali, Harmonica Pierre, Kent Jenkins, Paul Safy, Jr., RNG, Sky Sirens and The Hot Shot Tap Dancers.

AscenDance on America's Got Talent
Isabelle and Ryan is an engaged couple who have invented wall dancing. They perform acrobatic dance moves while hanging onto a climbing wall.

Christina & Ali on America's Got Talent
These two sisters, 13- & 20-years-old, were told because they have Cystic Fibrosis they would never be able to sing. They've proved all the doctors wrong; they showed off amazing harmonies as they sang Miley Cyrus' The Climb.

Harmonica Pierre on America's Got Talent
Pierre is 74 and from Brussels, Belgium. He chose to play the harmonica over keeping his marriage intact. He played Flight of the Bumblebee on two different very large harmonicas.

Kent Jenkins on America's Got Talent
Kent and his father built what they call a PVC Instrument and Kent plays it much like a drummer would play drums. The sound it makes is reminiscent of the Blue Man Group. He received brownie points with Sharon by playing an Ozzy tune.

Paul Safy, Jr. on America's Got Talent
Viewers only heard a little of this singers a cappella voice rendition of I Left My Heart in San Francisco but I thought it left much to be desired.

RNG, aka Rated Next Generation, on America's Got Talent
No one expected this dance troupe of young 11-13-year-old-girls to come out and perform hip hop but they did and did it very well. RNG performed a really in tune dance routine to I Can Transform Ya.

Sky Sirens on America's Got Talent
These two 30-something females, with their bright blue and green hair, performed a double trapeze act that was dubbed "totally dangerous."

The Hot Shot Tap Dancers on America's Got Talent
Comprised of 4 brothers and one sister The Hot Shot Tap Dancers want to bring tap back to the forefront of dance. The choreography could use a little tightening up but there new style of tap was set at an energetic pace to a Black Eyed Peas tune.

So far auditions for America's Got Talent have been held in LA, Dallas, twice in New York, twice in Orlando and now twice Portland. Here's my list of top ten contenders so far:
