It was the final results show of the quarterfinals on 'America's Got Talent.' There was an exciting magical performance from one of its guest stars, country fun at the beach from another and an emotional night for some of the selected top four semi-finalists who were given a second chance. No time was wasted as they proceeded with the first set of results and eliminations.

Kruti Dance Academy, Michael Grasso, Swing Shift Side Show & Rudi Macaggi

If you watched the Tuesday night performance show then you know it was clear who would be going on to the semifinals. Master magician Michael Grasso was the first of the top four selected. It was certainly a great victory for him as he never got to perform with the other Top 48 acts in the quarterfinals, since he was cut in the earlier Vegas round.

Criss Angel's Tribute to Houdini

He is the 21st century's Harry Houdini as Criss Angel paid tribute to his idol. The first trick was Houdini's signature stunt he is known for to this very day. Criss would wear an authentic straitjacket, not one purchased in magic shops; that was put on with the assistance of the three judges. After the jacket was secured, Criss was then hoisted up into the rafters hanging upside down. He would attempt to break Houdini's world record of 5 minutes getting out of a straitjacket.

Instead, Criss Angel would do it in one minute's time. To make a long story short he did it with one second left on the clock. If that wasn't enough he was put into a crate that was sealed up by his assistants. Then a sexy female dancer stands on top of the box. In a flash second of smoke Criss is now on top of the box and the lady dancer inside it. I absolutely love watching Criss Angel's TV show "Mindfreak". It was great seeing him on America's Got Talent.

Hot Shot Tap Dancers, RNG, Anna and Patryk

Finally the 12-year old ballroom dancers made it into the semi-finals at last. Anna was very emotional she could not talk to Nick when he asked her a question afterwards. Piers was very pleased his chosen act got through. They were the only act to make it into the top four who was selected and performed in the Top 48 quarterfinals.

CJ Dippa and Conor Doran

Howie was thrilled his chosen act, Conor Doran, that he brought back made it into the semi-finals. Doran said to Nick that CJ is a great rapper and he didn't want to go up against him, because they have become good friends. That was really nice of Conor Doran. Howie Mandel also stated the shock jock DJ, Howard Stern, is a fan of Conor's

LeAnn Rimes's Latest Single "Swingin'

Talk about a gimmicky, hokey, silly song and performance. It was set at a beach in the tradition of those 1960s beach movies. Even LeAnn was wearing a high-rise bikini from that era. The whole schtick was too much for me to even enjoy.

Doogie Horner, Michael Lipari and Asleigh Dejon & Harmonica Pierre

Somehow I knew it would come down to the aerial artists who defied the judges, crowd and millions watching when they pulled a fast one on us and Harmonica Pierre who performed brilliantly Lady Gaga's latest hit. Doogie Horner did not make it into the last two acts before the judges decision. Naturally Piers chose his act: Pierre and Sharon chose hers: Lipari and Dejon. It was up to Howie who had no problem with selecting his tie-breaking choice which was the aerialists, Micahel Lipari and Asleigh Dejon into the semi-finals.

Good recap. They really need to work out some other system, because by now, I've forgotten most of the names on the list for next week.
