America's Got Talent Season 3 Predictions

Who I Think Will Win

Paul Bright
America's Got Talent Season 3 is now coming down to the wire. Out of the hundreds of performers, the judges have been whittling it down to the last few who stand to win a $1,000,000 contract with a show in Vegas! The show hasn't been without controversy. Some think that people continue on solely for ratings even though they have no real worth as a Vegas act, while other more talented performers are shoved to the side to make room for those ratings grabbers. But this is the fun part because Pierce, Sharon and "The Hoff" really start to crack down on who is worth a million bucks and who should keep their day jobs.
I, however, have my opinions. After all, last year's winner- a ventriloquist by the name of Terry Fator has reportedly signed a $100 MILLION contract with Mirage in Vegas! That's a lot of shoe to fill! I don't think anyone in this year's competition is worth that, but I have a feeling as to who is going to be in the Top 10 of the 2003 America's Got Talent competition in no particular order:

Daniel Jens. His military background and soulful guitar playing can pull on heartstrings, but the world's got plenty of guitar players that pull on heartstrings.

Kaitlyn Maher. Is she worth a large contract? No way! Should parents put that much pressure on a 4 year-old to sing in front of millions FOR a million? Absolutely not. But she's too cute!

Nuttin But Stringz. This is different. This is energy. This is talent. No way should America pass up on these great violinists!

Taubl Family. What a good family. Just when you thought they'd keep doing those "Sound of Music" ensembles, they bust out with Rhianna's "Umbrella" and do it great justice! Watch out, Partridge Family. I like these guys way better than the Duttons from last year.

Eli Matson. I'm not particularly a fan of this sing-like-everyone-else piano player, but I can see where it can get him far. Besides, that hat looked much better on Cas Haley.

Paul Salos. The best impersonator in the group, hands down. How could Vegas NOT want the best-sounding Frank Sinatra alive today?

Neal E. Boyd. The best opera singer left in the competition. I hate that America's Got Talent gets so full of singers, but his story and his voice can't be ignored.

Jonathan Burkin. This kid was regularly bullied for displaying his talent as a baton twirler. Now he's all grown up and tossing flaming batons, doing cartwheels and wowing everyone on national TV. Who's in charge now? No way Vegas could resist this act and America should put him in at least the top 5.

Sick Step. This is a group for those who were too afraid to watch America's Best Dance Crew. Very coordinated; very entertaining. These guys are good enough for the top 10 but could they make it to the top 5? Who knows? The Jabawockeez didn't get this far on America's Got Talent yet they won ABDC.

Queen Emily. Her soul and her passion are unmatched. Again, so many singers find their way to the top, but Queen Emily can rule all in America's Got Talent!
So who will win Season 3 of America's Got Talent? I hope it's a close one between Jonathan Burkin and Paul Salos. Those are two refreshing acts that should be appreciated for their sheer talent and originality. But I'm betting Queen Emily takes the cake.
