America's Got Talent Season 5 Finale: Bizarre Prince Poppycock to Win AGT 2010?
Will Prince Poppycock or Jackie Evancho Win AGT 2010?
NJ.com estimates that Prince Poppycock will win America's Got Talent season 5. He lead in their polls 8 points above 10 year old singing sensation Jackie Evancho. They say that the eccentric performer "has won more than 40 percent of the votes in our reader poll, about 8 percentage points ahead of 10-year-old singing sensation Jackie Evancho and far ahead of fraternity dance group Fighting Gravity (18 percent) and blues singer Michael Grimm (9 percent). "
Perhaps Prince Poppycock will be the most suitable winner? After all, the prize is $1 million and a Las Vegas headlining show. His eccentric ways are far more befitting for Sin City than the smooth vocals of an ultra-talented girl.
Besides, I would bet you that Jackie Evancho will have a successful career in her talent, even without winning this show. On the other hand, Prince Poppycock is a bit more...unusual and a bit harder to market.
Fighting Gravity and Michael Grimm are both great acts, but the true showdown is between the Prince and Jackie. I am just calling it as I see it.
After tonight's performance, it's up to the voting public to decide who wins. Of course, we won't find out until tomorrow night, which means we have roughly 24 hours to sit around and mull about who the winner will be. Jackie Evancho and Prince Poppycock will be the talk at watercoolers around America, in school classroom hallways, and across social networking sites.
So who do you think will be the winner of this year's America's Got Talent season 5 finale?

Post a CommentPeirs had no right to do that. That move he did interrupted the Prince's big finale of his song. And also on top of that his microphone was having technical difficulties. Also from what I heard he wanted an actual white stallion to pull the carriage in his preformance but NBC nixed it. That is so messed up. That would have been a GREAT part to Prince Poppycock's preformance. But he doesn't need it, America will support him all the way. I hope his story will have a happy ending and he will be crowned America's got Talent Champion. Break a vase. CROWN THE PRINCE!!!
We have watched - and enjoyed - AGT for the entire fives years of it"s existence. However; Piers behavior last night was apalling! As Sharon so aptly pointed out, it was NOT his night and really had no business making his crass and inappropriate comments to & about Prince Poppycock!! Buzz a contestant during a final performance - how selfish and truly egotistical! We often agreed with Piers when he made less than popular remarks, but his action and remarks regarding Prince Poppycock were definitely uncalled for, and we fear may have given PP a "revenge" win!! Hope Piers has the moral fortitude to take a good look at his actions and apologize to Poppycock and the American people!
I was so upset at Perce, the only reason I watch AGT this year was because of Prince Poppycock. Here I'm waiting to hear the great end to a beautiful song and what to I hear? A buzzard....I couldn't believe it, what was going on?? How rude to do that to Prince Poppycock, right before the hardest part of the song, was Perce trying mess him up? I loved his performance, I don't care if he's funny or serious, he has a great voice and I love all the costumes and props. Nothing against the other finalists, but he is the only one I would pay to see perform. I what to see a show, not just singing, not just glowing men. Shame on you Perce..I woke up this morning still upset about it!!!
Piers stole from Prince Poppycock tonight and it was incredibly selfish, self indulgent and petchulant. But he not only stole from PP with his tempter tantrum he stole from me, he stole from you, he stole from America. We spent months watching the show, we invested our time and our energy and many of us invested our money and our votes....We expect something for that investment, we expect at this level of the competition, excellent entertainment and at the hight of the show, the grand finale, we demand nothing less for our hard earned time and money.
Dont get me wrong, a petuchlant, self indulgent temper-tantrum may be wonderfully juicy to watch on Jersey shore, but it is abusive and insulting to us the season long viewer who wants to see the great climax to all of that time, practice, passion, and creativity. And the show has a lot to answer for IMO because they intentionally capitalize on the American dream with all the little vignettes about how each contestant is "reaching for th
I like THE PRINCE, HE IS A REAL TALENT AND IT IS A PLEASUR TO WATCH HIM.right now Jackie isn't the singer I would spend monny to watch. She has a talent, but because of her age she wont be good for an aduld performence and because of her voice she is not good for a child performans,well...? Long live the prince!
What is all this "Jackie doesn't belong in Vegas" crap!!!! It's a one time show with all the top ten finalists. The winner doesnt get a show of their own, they are just the headliner for the top ten show. Understand, ONE SHOW in Vegas, plus the national tour of 25 shows over 5-6 weeks. She is already part of the tour so a single stop in Vegas shouldnt be the issue. If we are to vote for the best of the show, then age should have nothing to do with it. I agree that Jackie doesnt need to win this thing to succeed, but she is the best of the finalists.
@ DeTy...agree 100%. All 4 amazing talents. But Jackie needs to be a kid and watch her vocal use and not hang in Vegas. Grimm is incredible and will be successful. Frat act #2...but who would I buy a ticket to see in Vegas? Poppycock.
Prince Poppycock! and after Piers did that awful thing to him and said those harsh words about him, I'd love to see the Prince win HUGE - I'm sure Piers has lots invested in Jackie winning. Oh, and Michael Grimm to come in 2nd place.
Prince Poppycock would make a better Vegas act. I don't think Jackie belongs in Vegas she needs to have proper guidance and training to keep her voice in top shape for a long career. Let her be a kid!!!!!
Liz: Jackie has the most amazing voice..exceptional talent! Please give me the correct tel. no. so I can vote for her. Thanks, Liz
