Noah built his ark big enough for all the animals to come aboard. Well, the designers of Noah's Ark in Wisconsin Dells, Wis., decided they were going to build America's largest waterpark, and they did.

This immense 70-acre funland will amuse the child in everyone. If you can't find something you like here, then basically, you won't find it anywhere. The popular family vacation destination attracts people year after year with new and different rides and splashing adventures.

The entire area comprises 45 waterslides, two wave pools, two endless rivers, four children's water play areas, an activity pool, three group amusement rides, an 18-hole miniature golf course, three arcades, shopping center and many food options.

You can delve into shaved ice, funnel cakes, hamburgers and other "fair" food along with gourmet specialties.
Not only can families have fun, but the parents can be rest assured that safety is another top priority. The waterpark's more than 200 certified lifeguards consistently receive top rankings in the professional world of water safety.

Almost every year, Noah's Ark comes up with something new and exciting. This summer is no different. Fun lovers and SpongeBob lovers will enjoy the new 4-D theater, featuring the SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D movie. It's a theater where you might get a little wet if you are in the right (or wrong) seats. It's kind of a mixture of a movie with special effects of water, wind, vibration, scents, lightning and bubbles. The theater will hold about 175 people each session. There is no additional charge for the movie to Noah's Ark guests.

Once you come out of the theater, take a ride on the Black Anaconda, touted as America's longest watercoaster at ΒΌ mile long. Lots of screams come from the ride with six climbs and a 30 mph spiraling drop.

The Dark Voyage allows a whole family to ride together in a tube through turning rapids and through the dark caves.
If relaxing is more your style, two carefree floating rivers await you. Sit on your tube and watch the world go by on the Endless River or head for Adventure river for waterfalls and geysers.

This largest thing is definitely a theme at the park. And the streak continues with the world's largest bowl ride called TimeWarp. The new waterslide with its four-person rafts plunges its brave rides into fast speeds. It is completely enclosed and then riders drop 70 feet.

The waterpark is open daily from May 26 through Sept. 3, 2007. The park is located at 1410 Wisconsin Dells Parkway, and is about a two-hour drive from Chicago and four hours from Minneapolis. You can get more info at info@noahsarkwaterpark.com.

The lifeguards use a total of 30 gallons of sunscreen in one season.
