America's Next Top Model: Why Tune Into to Season 9?

For America's Next Top Model, Season 9, we have had beautiful women, cat fights, tears and violence. The question is: With this next season, will the interest still be there? Where is the difference and the changes needed within reality TV, and why is it that people love this show much?

This show that starts in September 19, is awaited and anticipated like every other year. Based on 13 models struggling to be on top like Tyra Banks herself. A mix of Oprah, Jerry Springer and a classic runway show. What seems to be the draw is that not only do you have these young women that are desperate to be famous in modeling but you also are always surprised each week at the amazing photos that come up after watching the shoots. Each season they come up with new ideas on pictures to take with these amazingly talented women. Pictures like swimming in water, black and whites, and even hanging in the air by ropes. At times it reminds you of Fear Factor because it pushes these young ladies into areas and people that they are terrified of.

Season 9 seems to be no less of a treat for all America's Next Top Model lovers. They are looking to be more controversial in their photos this year to elicit a stronger response from viewers. Unlike last years models where some were mid twenties which in modeling seems old, this year all 13 models are late teens early twenties, not one over 22. Per the new photos showing the 13 models there also does not appear to be any full figured models like there was as of last year. The young influx of women will change the mentality some instead of law students and mothers there will be college students and teenagers.

This show attracts photography and beautiful women lovers alike. Like every season there will likely be a diva, a bookworm, and a wall flower that all grow and become people you love to love or love to hate. Personally, I cannot wait until makeover day, watching all the women transform completely by Tyra's desire. The other great aspect of this show is that unlike some reality shows it brings back previous winners and loser to show where they are and how they have grown within the business. This show is a completely frivolous show that is great for your middle of the week blues. For women it also gives great ideas for the new fashions and makeup for each new year. Although this is 9 cycles in, America's Next Top Model continually brings in viewers of each gender.
