As a child I found I had a love for baseball,
Strikeouts from pitchers who could bring the heat,
Home runs from titans standing on my seat,
My family taught me to love baseball.
It was my first taste of sports,
And I knew that I would want more,
I loved sliding into home, and the smell of the grass
I find myself visiting that old field in my mind.
