Amidst Snowflakes and Cherry Blossoms

Staring out the window
At summer in full effect,
A vision
Of you
Trembles into mind,
A leaf in the summer breeze.
Self-perception finds you faulted,
Chipped and bruised
In your picture frame.

But even stars possess dust
And light pollutes.
Yet stars dot the sky
And shine on through the night
And light pervades the dark.
Because to me,
To me
You are perfect.
