Amigurumi Skeleton Doll Pattern

Cute Skeleton Doll in the Amigurumi Style

Briana Blair
This is a pattern that I created based off my crocheted teddy bear pattern. It is my first amigurumi creation and I hope you enjoy this little skeleton doll

Materials:

Small amount of size 10 crochet cotton in desired color (about 1/4 ball)
Size 7 steel Hook
Large sewing needle
Fiberfill stuffing

Terms:

sc = single crochet
dec = decrease
inc = increase
st = stitch, sts = stitches

**Note**

Entire doll is worked in rounds, do not join. leave at least a 5-6" tail on each piece, these will be used for sewing the doll together later. The number in () is the number of stitches around you should have after each round. If you're a stitch or two off, don't worry, amigurumi is very forgiving. Also, amigurumi patterns are quite different from traditional crochet. If you can count your clusters (sc in each of next 3 sts, dec in next st = 4 st -or- sc in each of next 3 sts, inc in next st = 5 st, etc.) you should be able to complete the entire pattern without needing to mark the beginning of your rounds.

Arm (Make 2)

- ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd st from hook (6 st)

- 2 sc in each sc around (12 st)

- make 72 more sc

- sc in each of next 3 sts, inc in next st, repeat around (30 st)

- sc in each of next 4 sts, inc in next st, repeat around (36 st)

- make 144 more sc

- sc in each of next 4 sts, dec in next st, repeat around (30 st)

- sc in each of next 3 sts, dec in next st, repeat around (24 st)

- sc in each of next 2 sts, dec in next st, repeat around (18 st)

- sc in next st, dec in next st, repeat around (12 st)

- stuff

- dec in each st around (6 st)

- end off. use end of thread to gather the opening shut, then weave end down through body and snip off

Assembly

- sew arms and legs to body in desired location (whip-stitch in a circle around each arm and leg)

- Sew on details as desired. In the photo I stitched details with black crochet cotton and added 8mm black buttons for eyes.

- pull all ends inside body and clip off.
