Amused by the Abuse
The Outcry
I have both Yahoo and Gmail.
But now it is getting out of control,
We need to deploy "Email Patrol".
How do you get so much time in hand ?
I really find it difficult to understand.
Even when you just copy and paste,
Do you realize how much time you waste ?
Too much data transfer,
Overloads the damn server.
If you still don't know,
My computer gets slow.
Now I open the mail with anticipation,
We really don't need that aggravation.
Also want you to know folks,
I am tired of exchanging jokes !
You do not have to get me wrong,
My feeling for friends and family is strong.
I don't have the intention to devour,
Only your emails for an hour.
Just because you can send bulk mail,
Doesn't mean everyday you'll leave your trail,
Too many mails wait in my Inbox,
You need to control your finger with Botox !
I have decided enough is enough,
My response will start to get tough.
Most of you routinely waste time,
Do you know abuse of email is a crime?
If the habit you could alter,
We would live happily ever after.
Hope you didn't feel offended,
Here, only my position was defended.

Post a CommentI'm so glad to have seen this one...my pet peeve are people who forward 100 "vital" jokes or updates a day, 99% of them already sent by 100 other people or items that turn out to be hoaxes. Haven't they ever heard of sites to check out rumors before sending them to someone? The rest, of course, is spam which escapes my spam folder.

This is about the chain e-mails eh? I've never been a fan either. Yet, they continue to fill my inbox. *sigh*
I loved this! When I get those forwarded emails, probably 97% of them are automatically deleted. Who really has time to read all of those messages? :)
Completely agree - half of my email is always spam I just delete. Funny.

AMEN!!!! I agree totally! I am tired of getting the same worn out jokes and chain e-mails over and over again. I don't even read 99% of my emails anymore, just delete, but sick of that as well.. I hate to have to put a block on friends and family! Ooooo! LOL! Great read, very well done!!!!!
