Amy Winehouse died at age 27 on July 23, 2011 from a drug overdose at her London home. Winehouse was a hugely popular English singer and songwriter, who had a long history of drug problems.

On June 18, 2011, Winehouse was booed off the stage at the start of her 2011 European Tour when she appeared onstage in an intoxicated condition and was unable to really perform in Belgrade, Serbia. On June 21, 2011, Winehouse canceled her European Tour.

Earlier this year on February 11, 2011, Amy Winehouse had tried to perform in Dubai, but similar problem plagued her during that performance too. She cut the concert short that night.

Winehouse has not looked good in photos for a very long time now. The end came for her on July 23, 2011, when two ambulances were called to her home in Camden, London. Winehouse was found not breathing, and paramedics were unable to revive her.
