An Affordable City to Live in California

Kay Pierre
California is an expensive state to live in but there are a lot of cities with low cost real estate. You may have to put up with a few discomforts but other than that the real estate price is almost as low as anywhere else. California is expensive because the weather is wonderful all year round. The weather never gets too cold or too hot. California has many beaches and that attract a lot of people too. The employment opportunity is great in California too and that's why a lot of people want to live there. California is a very diverse state with almost every ethnicity and therefore people want to live there so they can be around their friends.

Expensive cities are Huntington Beach, Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, Laguna Niguel, Corona Del Mar, Anaheim Hills, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Westminster, Fountain Valley, and Costa Mesa. The real estate price is high in these areas because these are upscale neighborhoods with low crimes rate. You really pay for what you get. You can expect that most features in these areas are upscale.

Affordable cities are Santa Ana, Yorba Linda, Montreal, San Bernadino, Corona, Riverside, Pomona, and Hacienda Height. The real estate price is much lower in these areas due to the fact that it's located in a more secluded area. The weather can be a little warmer than the other city. There are less people living in these city. There are less employment opportunity around these city. You have to drive to nearby city to work. These city are near the forest or valley. It's safer to live and less in crime. A decent house would cost you around $300,000 to $500,000.
