Sports fans of Atlanta can enjoy watching professional sports all year long. Since the city has a professional football, baseball, basketball and hockey team, there is an Atlanta sports team for every season of the year.

Atlanta Falcons - An Atlanta Sports Team of the National Football League

The Atlanta Falcons are Atlanta's National Football League football team and are in the NFC South Division. Arriving in Atlanta in 1965 as an expansion team, the team gained fan support quickly after a local contest was held to determine the new team's name. After competing for many years at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, the Atlanta Falcons moved to the Georgia Dome in 1992. In the last decade or so, the Atlanta Falcons have enjoyed several winning seasons including several division championships and a Super Bowl berth in 1998. Although it was a hard fought game, the Atlanta Falcons were defeated by the Denver Broncos. The Atlanta Falcons are presently owned by Arthur Blank. The regular season for this Atlanta sports team is from September to December.

Atlanta Braves - An Atlanta Sports Team of Major League Baseball

Great when you have lots of sporting events to go to. Yes, I just noticed in the forums that you can't post. Hope this gets fixed soon. =)

Hey Sunshine, I did not receive this notification - CJ posted in the forums that you published something - but it wouldn't have mattered because up until today (5 days now!) I have been unable to comment on anybody's stuff! So, here I am, finally, able to read you :) My dad is a huge hockey fan, watches every game - so whenever I am there - hockey is on the television. Cheers :)
