An Easy Way to Build Muscle

Rik Rodriguez
Certainly there are many reasons that you may want to gain muscle mass. Muscle is generally considered to be heavier than fat. So if you want to loose weight gaining muscle mass may not be the way to go for you. The fastest easiest way to build muscle is to find an activity that is fun and builds muscle.

It sounds easy to gain muscle and it is but you will want to fuel your body with proteins, carbohydrates and nutrient dense food. Your body will want more food when you find the activity that is suited for you that builds muscle. Lifting weights in a gym will do the trick. But this type of activity and environment didn't suit my needs at all.

For me personally I have found that its easier and faster to incorporate your muscle building activities at work and at home. For example if you are required to do repetitive tasks through out the day that require lifting. You can choose to lift the items so as to benefit your biceps. This method of lifting is called the curl and can build muscle in your biceps. You will want to select the appropriate weight for you. Do not start out with heavy weights. Work up slow on repetitions and weight. In other words use common sense. Do not over do it.

The old saying of no pain no gain can be true in some instants but do not take it to heart. You will be sore if you decide to start doing repetitions with even a soup can while watching television but if you do not over do it and you allow your body time to heal. You will build muscle and you will become stronger. Be patient and consistent in your efforts to gain muscle.

I started a strength and conditioning class and it seemed like it took weeks to see any measurable progress. But for me once I saw that progress it seemed like my body had kicked into gear and I was going in the direction that I wanted to go. Gaining muscle is easier that you think. I am certain you can think of many fun ways to incorporate muscle building into your life. Like I said building muscle can be fun and inexpensive. You can easily incorporate muscle building activities into your lifestyle. It really isn't necessary to join a gym. Most of the time you can get better results at home.
