An Environmentally Safe Green Poem

Words in This Poem Have Been Recycled. No New Words Have Been Used

Deb Martin-Webster
Do you remember way back when
If I've told you once, I'll tell you again
Hold on I have another call
Please stop scribbling on the wall

No, I don't know where it's at
Where is your brand new winter hat
How did you brother reach the cake
So no one broke the garden rake

How did his head get stuck in there
Put back your grandmom's underwear
Always practice what you preach
Your dreams are never out of reach

Here today gone tomorrow
I lost the shirt you let me borrow
Will you please stop making noise
Go back and pick up all your toys

Just wait until you have your own
It's time for bed hang up that phone
I didn't mean to run that light
Out of mind out of sight

Make it fast I've got to leave
The truth is out there I believe
Some things are few and far between
Please help us to keep our planet green
